I'm not a chump. I support the USMNT. That means I'll buy this shirt, even if it is not as good in my opinion as the qualifying shirts.

I prefer the away version. Looks much niced and should be the home kit.

Considering how everyone in our group has a white home kit, the blue shirt will get more use.

White is our home kit color.

Youre right. And if they get to round of 16 they'll probably play Germany and Germany will be the "home" side and will most certainly choose to wear white. I don't see the USA going any further. The only game they'll probably wear the white is against Algeria.

clean. I like the fact that is doesn't look quite like a beauty pageant....not until you look at it closely. But from afar it is much better than the away.

reminds me a bit of the US home kit from 2000 era--simple, but classy. don't need the faded out pageant stripe running across the strip, though

Nice kit. One of the better ones we've had. I do wish they would have either left off the sash or made it blue. If you're going to put it on there make it noticeable.

Why does every shirt have to be something grand and fancy? I like the Argentina away shirt. Its simple and classic.

I'd take this over Mexico's home, which looks like they are sweating blood from their armpits.

Or how about France? Their home shirts look like they were attacked by a Polish bear.

As I already emailed this blog, certain censored's Sporting Goods stores have already begun to sell both the US and Portugal home jerseys.

I took a picture of one AND purchased one last week.

Maybe we could compromise. They can just make the warm ups out of jean jackets.

The away kit is much better and definitely has a more timeless look to it. But as a whole I am not thrilled with Nike's effort for this World Cup. Which is very disappointing when you consider how amazing many of the kits from the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 were. Instead, all the kits from 2010 just remind me of how similar they all looked in 2002 when Nike used something like 2 ugly templates for all teams.

Simple, no fuss - CLASS!

Loks like a USA strip, but still has a nod to history.

I like it!

The same people that say it's plain are probably the same people that complain about a kit being too busy if it has any hint of unique styling.

Why do people say USMNT?? Why not say USA or US? No other country does that. Even just saying US Men's Team would be better, I mean what other team is there? Of course it's the national team, that's beyond obvious.

As for the shirt. I think it looks great!

we're not any other country, we do what we do. don't call them that if you don't like it. one reason for the acronym is to differentiate between the men's and women's team. that's the other team out there.
