Hmm, too similar to the blue shirt to be a third shirt I'd guess... The "African American flag" is black green and red. Maybe something to do with that.

I think its meant to say : USA... Since when have they been able to play football? (or for the yanks, "soccer") I cannot wait until they face England in the finals, they will get proper felt up.

as its for sale in LA, i think this may simply be a different design to attract different customers.

Its almost a rebellious opposite to the home strip, so i'm guessing its just another way to sell more soccer shirts and to create more interest in the game.

But then, Nike don't think that good, so its probably just another shirt to make even more money

If it had the regular colored badge I would prefer it over the other two. It's less of a sash.

I'm really ready for the next USA kit even though it's not another 2 years away.

God I hate the sash.

Here's the back story of this shirt. There's also a second one in LA Lakers colors.

admerr is spot on

its part of their NIke SB(skateboarding) range. They just used the football design and transferred it to a different range of clothing so its unlikely it wil be worn by the players in a game

I imagine Nike decided to ride on the back of the trend for baseball jerseys and caps in different colours. You can now by a Yankees cap in every colour imaginable!

Nike did the same thing with Brazil's home jersey.

Wow I really like it. I'm not a skater but I think mashing up football culture with skater culture is pretty kool, I'm especially a fan of the black it. I wish Nike made our official away kit like this all black except instead of green lines I would use blue lines but still very nice merchandise

Leeds or Cardiff really ought to consider something like the white shirt as their home kits. Those are sharp.

didn't read the linked articles- but did it mention the similarity to the Mexico away kit? If these are being marketed in Los Angeles, that would make sense (sort of).

The shirts are apparently for Nike sb skateboarder Paul rodriguez who is of Mexican heritage therefore Mexican colors. He is also from LA which explains the Lakers colors.

these are supporter shirts, it's streetwear. Its marketing. Nothing to do with the actual US football team. Some people must not actually read the article

I think they've read the article, but why wear something like that when you can put on the real thing? I can only imagine some dip shit rapper from LA actually wearing that crap anyway.

you're welcome, Sven.

theses aren't fake. if you go to the link admerr (the other bloke who spotted this), you'll see the pictures. why is everyone getting so touchy. it's a fun idea and as I live in Los Angeles and visit for sneaker releases they do stuff like this all the time. Something different and something unique to own once in a lifetime.

I'll be down with the boyz in the 'hood wearing this ! Put your baseball cap on back to front, have your jeans half way down your backside, put on one of these shirts on and away you go...

Unfortunately as a 40 something from Yeovil I'm not sure this look would go down to well in my local pub.

Why are people getting offended by the shirts? cant people read, it says nike SB shirts, which means SKATEBOARDING, which means STREETWEAR!!! that means that these kits were just made as a fashion statement and to look good on the street, theyre not USA football fan gear at all.
