VfL Bochum Do You Football 10/11 Kits

Here are the new VfL Bochum kits from Do You Football for the 2010/11 2. Bundesliga season.

Verein für Leibesübungen Bochum 1848 Fußballgemeinschaft to give them their full name are a team from Bochum in the Ruhr Valley area of Germany are were one of the Bundesliga's perennial bottom half of the table team until the last season which saw them relegated to the 2. Bundesliga.

Being from the Ruhr district, which is famous for a lot factories and industry, Do You Football appear to have gone with a smokey look respresenting the chimeny stacks from around the area. As well as this their also appears to be a Wild West theme in the font as the Ruhr district is one of the most western parts of Germany.

The away kit is a much darker shade of blue than the home, almost to the extent of being black. The smoke effect still features heavily but other than that appears to be very much the same as the home.

The third shirt doesn't follow the smokey look of the home and away kits, instead it is a lime green colour with Bochum blue highlights around the collar and cuff regions.

Very 80s/ early 90s style.
I like them, but don't love them.

Is it denim like? And those numbers?

Why is he ironing that shirt? Surely nylon and a hot iron are a bad mix?
IMO these are cheap, vile designs, however they are perfect for a 'discount store' sponsor.

Truly awful. It's like they were designed by kids with some left over denim for a school project

Netto - probably the most apt sponsor of all time!

Making those kits resembling denim (smokey my a*s) and put on them wild-west-font-numbers-alike for a German team is just wrong. It's just a kitsch. The green and the keeper's ones are ok, but without those numbers.

Celebrate the smokestacks and industrial pollution? really? Not only do they look cheap but the execution of their awful idea was poor.

Like the numbers, and not a lot else.

The goal keeper kit looks good, though; too bad only one player gets to wear that one at a time.

Horrible, looks like something from the mid-80s and the "jeans" stitching on the shorts is even worse.

I really like the western style letters.

Best letters on a kit ever, hands down.
