bradford city 11/12 nike home away football shirts

These are the new Bradford City 2011/2012 home and away kits - both manufactured for the first time by sportswear giants Nike.

City's home kit for the forthcoming campaign will see a return to the striking claret and amber stripes, with Map Group (UK) retaining the main sponsorship on the front of the jersey.

The new home shirt is a stock Nike design, however, the claret and amber colours in the shirt are bespoke to Bradford City and only available via the Club Shop.

The Bantams will also be looking to brighten up the league with their brand new cherry pink away kit.

The new away kit combination will consist of a voltage cherry shirt and shorts with black detail, and will also be sponsored by the Map Group (UK).

The new home kit is due for launch on 22 July alongside the launch of the new Club Store.

The away kit will go on sale from Friday 12 August - the day before the Bantams travel to Oxford United for their first league away fixture of the new season.

Thanks to Boz i

Home would be much better if Nike tick was in white, is nice to see them back in stripes though.

I personally like the away, however Southend have it and for this stand out kit the template in this colour should have only been used once, also the a third would be need on trips to red sides so seems slightly odd. Expecting a white strip out as well

Jagged stripes are poor, keep them straight.

The tick is probably black as Bradford kits always have black in them somewhere as a tribute to those who died in the 1985 fire

Very good shout, looking at the standard template on teamwear sites there is a white tick (http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/teamwear/Nike-Teamwear-Football-Shirts-Nike-Energy-Long-Sleeve-Jersey-Team-Kits-Varsity-RedVarsity-Maize-33625.aspx) which in my eyes looks better but a tribute is always a worthy cause

colours are great--would be perfect if the stripes were straight instead of jagged. as for the away kit, they should have used palermo's instead to get something a little more masculine:)

The stripes will look straight on the pitch. However I don't think this is a very sympathetic kit.

Those who worship Nike or think it is a great brand should take a look at City's last couple of strips which featured a much more sympathetic design.

If you don't like it then I am sure there are many other sites to suit your taste. However, as a Slovenian, I am very happy to see all clubs from top to non league. keep your opinions to yourself.

Yes but nike actually design england and city kits because they have bought umbro out, nike design the "bigger teams" kits using the umbro logo but umbro design the "smaller teams"

Nice, but Nike's logo should've been white like the shorts !!! what a big mistake i know they have a reason in adding the black , but still it's not right.. the pink is nice but i don't if it's the best choice for an away when the home is maroon

The away kit is awful. Pink is not and never will be a football colour (just my opinion).
Good luck Bradford, If I were a fan I would buy the home shirt.
Despite the away shirt not being my colours I hope you guys have a great season. Cheers!

Finally returning to stripes for the home kit is a good move. The away kit is pretty outrageous, not sure if I'll get one until I've seen one up close. Hopefully the colour will distract the opposition and we might actually have a play-off shout. City till I die.
