There are the new Colombian national team home and away kits manufactured by Adidas for 2011/2012, which will be available here.
Following on from quite a lenghty contract with Lotto, Colombia has now switched over to Adidas, I say 'now' switched over but they have already played a couple of games in Adidas kits, but these were just temporary teamwear until Adidas produced their official line of products.
The first line reads 2011/2012, but the truth is I don't really know how long a kit's life is anymore, a lot of national teams seem to be shortening the lifespan of their uniforms down to just a single years worth of playing time. I can however imagine Colombia will see a new kit before their qualification campaign for the 2014 World Cup gets underway.
The home kit is in Colombia's traditional 'tricolor' of yellow shirts, blue shorts and red socks and seems to use the template we've seen the Spanish national team and a few others also use. Inside the collars reads 'Unidos por un país' meaning 'united by a country' on top of a Colombian flag. The shoulders of the shirt are blue with yellow Adidas stripes and the collar is blue with a slight bit of red trim, which can also be found on the cuffs.
The away is a dark blue colour, which seems to have disapointed a few Colombian fans who seemed to be hoping to see a red shirt released. The collar is also a V like the home but a different style. Yellow Adidas stripes again feature here as to the yellow cuffs, but the overall look is quite different to that of the home. The away shirt will be joined by white shorts and white socks.
The kits, as with all the other recently release South American strips will all be able to be seen at this summer's Copa América in Argentina where Colombia will meet hosts Argentina as well as Bolivia and special invitee to the tournament, Japan.
