inter milan 11-12 nike home football shirt

The new FC Internazionale 2011/12 kit is unveiled today, and will be available here. The strip is characterised by a refined, modern design using fibres made from recycled materials to reduce the impact on the environment and it can also boost the performance of the players.

"Charm, style and tradition. The new FC Internazionale collection and in particular the Nerazzurri home shirt are a tribute to the elegance and sartorial excellence that has made Milan famous throughout the world," said Andrea Rossi, General Manager of Nike Italy. "Our constant commitment to technological innovation has allowed us to create an eco-friendly and extremely lightweight shirt which will weigh 13% less than previous shirts."

"The launch of the new kit designed for Inter by Nike has become a pleasant tradition," said President of FC Internazionale Massimo Moratti. "It's a special occasion; it's the start of a new season for all of us and particularly for the fans who love to wear the official shirt to show their allegiance to the Nerazzurri. Inter and Nike, Let's hope for another winning partnership this time."

The home shirt has maintained its classic blue and black stripes although they are thinner than those of previous shirts and a collar with two buttons, giving it a refined, elegant look. On the inside, at the back of the club logo, the word "Nerazzurri" is printed, while the word "Inter" appears under the collar.

This year for the first time the Inter logo has been hot-pressed to make the shirt even lighter and allow the fabric to breathe in this area.

The shorts are black with a blue stripe on both sides. The socks are also black with the word "Inter" printed on the calf to complete the strip. The shirt and shorts are particularly well finished with careful stitching.

The new kit (shirt and shorts) are made from one hundred percent polyester recycled by Nike. Each of these is obtained directly from the recycling of fourteen plastic bottles.

The strip actively contributes to the regulation of the player's body temperature during matches thanks to the Nike Dri-FIT material. The shirt is more aerodynamic than previous ones due to its 17% increase in elasticity.

This year for the first time as well as the playing strip a collection for training and lifestyle wear have been presented. The Training range, created in high-tech fabrics, allow optimal training in any weather conditions. The collection is completed with an Express line of lifestyle wear for fans who want to dress with style and elegance and show their passion for the Nerazzurri colours in their leisure time.

Apart from Nike trying to appear to be full of ethics with the drivel about the shirt being eco-friendly. Is that why it's made in a Bangladeshi sweat shop then for a couple of quid at the most and sold for around 40? Yes, very ethical.

i would have thought that Nike would have lined up the Inter badge better between the stripes so that the star falls perfect;y on the line rather than offset, looks a bit cheap.
Also, i'm disapointed to see Sneijder model the kit, i'm holding out hope that the rumors are true and that United will be signing him before the new season starts

Classic Inter, the slightly lighter blue looks really good, and while its a shame the crest and maker logo are not embroided on, the rest of the kit looks a step up in class from a lot of nike products, which dont seem as high quality. Along with Club America, this is one of the best this year from Nike

The badge/swoosh is printed because this is a players shirt and therefore lighweight and stripped of surplus embellishments (and also has the strengthening at the seam joints).
I'm pretty sure the replicas will be badged and embroidered.

Without doubt the best kit Nike have designed all season.
I only wish they had done the same with the Celtic Away
and 3rd strip, hopefully they can improve on this next season for our new home strip.

Hail Hail !!

You know i'm only tellin you how it is y'all!!!!!
You love me cos i tell it how it is - and this jersey is the same as 07-08!!!!!!

I understand hot pressing the badge makes things lighter and cooler, but I love a stitched badge on my shirt. I want to be able to physically grab the badge and kiss it, rather than kiss the right side of shift that has a picture of the badge on it.

Beautiful kit. IMO the blue and black stripes of Inter are the best traditional combination of any football kit.

Shame Sneijder won't be playing in it. Although I hear Man United's away kit is also blue and black :)

It's always with the blue and black stripes. CAN'T NIKE AND INTER COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER THAN THIS SAME OLD JERSEY. I like the team but seriously, what about a blue jersey with a black, diagonal line through the middle?

Forza Inter !!!! Love the kit and whichever twat keeps goin on about Sneijder goin to the Manc scum, read the inter website he is NOT for sale. Why would he leave Inter to take a step down to Utd ?? He is stupid if he does. Greedy Ashley Young left my team Villa to go and sit on the bench at Man Utd. If Young and Phil Jones are the best the Manc Scum can do in the transfer window then they aint goin anywhere !!! De Gea is overrated aswell !!!
