Better than the previous away shirt.
I have no issue with Red Bull owning the team and being the sponsor, but you'd think you could at least take away one of the logos. Having two different Red Bull logos on the front is a bit redundant.

Very clean. Colors are nice, and I love how the RB logo really looks like part of the jersey instead of slapped on. As expected, very similar to the last away kit.

Very cool!!! The point really is: Where to find in NYC to purchase it???
I've been there last year and couldn't find any store that sells "soccer" apparel....

Cheers from Brazil

Try Upper 90 or Onion Bag. They both do printing as well.

The ADIDAS store in SoHo has all the MLS teams, and other ADIDAS teams. I believe it's their flagship store.

Cheers from a Brazilian in NYC.

really? 18,000? last time i check you averaged 15k in a 25k so dont speak for your energy drink cult when you cant even get the facts straight. also those "bankrupt" clubs are also the most profitable clubs in the world while you're clubs are still struggling to make a profit. plus corrupt? your league is runned by club owners who does every thing for the best interest of the league and dont care squat about supporters and while your league is struggling financially your leader asked for a $4 million contract extension. talk about corrupt. so shut up and just go back to NFL or MLB. and guess what i am an american.

Reported losses =Man U,Chelsea,Liverpool,Barca,Real Madrid,Valencia and we dont even have to talk about Italy. A lot of these clubs are getting bailed out by banks just ask Real Madrid .who received a loan of 300,000,000.MLS is struggling financially?Dont even compare the losses please, the league is building new stadiums and expanding! Fixed matches? never lol..NJRB did avg if not 18,000 then pretty damn close to it.....closer than 15.......Peace out biatch....issues issues...

This classic design makes the Sounders look like a bunch of clowns. This proves adidas can make a simple, clean design.

It's acceptable because the team is called the Red Bulls. Also, if you pretend it's not an energy drink, the logo is pretty badass.

Thats what New Jersey Red Bull fans tend to do, it use to drive me nuts being called the Red Bulls b/c of the relationship but not anymore to tell u the truth. I think i speak for most NJRB fans and say that we just look at it as red bulls "like the animal" and not the drink...signing Henry and Marquez and having a solid team helped us forget really quickly ....also helps that red bull is so prominent in other sports...xgames,nascar...whatever...its not only a drink anymore

did you forget that marquez and Henry and JPA didnt help you at all? idc about what the DP rule 3 is a small number. they should take out the salary cap then you can really let "the bulls out".

The owners have the money but the league is being patient and building a parity driven league where every team has a pretty much equal chance to win...we cnat have a league where only 4 teams have a chance to win...How didnt Henry, Marquez, and JPA help? I dont understand.....All JPA did was score while he was with us....Henry and Marquez need a full season under their belts to reap the full benefits of having them

yea true. Metrostars was a cheesy name but atleast it was a honorable identity and not a coporate brand. i cant stand going to their games and having RED BULL blare out the PA and having subliminal messages about how red bull is actually a good drink beamed into my head the whole game. plus i like how metrostars sounds there was no location name attatched to it (officially that is) it was just "Metrostars" and i liked it. i dont care what NJ fans say i bet you if they had a choice they would either take back the metrostars name or rebrand.

The name Metrostars was based on Metromedia, the company that initially owned the team.

It was a corporate brand. The original owners were executives at METROMEDIA. A company which did nothing for the team.

amen to that, im from Queens and even though they play in the slums of NJ i supported them until they whored out to Red Bulls. at first i thought "ok some energy drink money coming in and a promise of a new stadium thats great". but to take our name and turn our club into another marketing arm for red bulls and keep banging that energy drink in our heads every home game i couldnt take it. i quit supporting them and im starting it give up on mls cuz garber doesnt know how to run it. but eh just waiting till Cosmos come in and shows NJRB and MLS some real class.

Clubs all around the world( well supported, successful, and respectable clubs I may add) are named after corporations. Some of them are obvious but others not so much. What about Bayer Leverkusen? BAYER...Bayer because the Bayer Corporation played a part in founding the team. It's not a new concept what Red Bull is doing. They are building a great organization and that is all that matters. In 100 years, people won't think twice about the name. and as for people who insist on saying New Jersey Red Bulls, get a life. No one calls them the New Jersey Jets or New Jersey Giants and they play in NJ too.

But Bayer did not buy 5 teams. And did not make an advertisement factory of the sport. Anyway, there was not a disgusting globalized world like that in 1904 than now. The things were going some other way totally. :-|

Bayer is a local firm moreover. Red Bull ruined a distinguished and existing club in Salzburg and Leipzig too. Not all the money...

Well thats b/c the Jets and Giants have been established for many years now and the stadium is fairly close to NY geographically. RBA arena is in the heart of Jersey dude i mean they have the Newark skyline not NY. Reports say that at least 80% of the attendance is from Jersey. They should just give Jersey the team or at least name them NY/NJ like the old Metros and NY the Cosmos, its going to be pretty stupid having a NY derby when one team plays in Jersey. Agree with you on the whole Red Bull name thing it use to bother me but not anymore and like u said Leverkusen has the same scenerio and no on cares...isnt Wolfsburg with Volkswagon?

but in no way does Red Bull disrespect the sport. RB fans are treated extremely well and the organization puts a quality side on the pitch always. Yes it is commercialization. But what aspect of life is not commercialized now? It's the world we live in and as much as we would like to think that football is exempt from it, it's not. The popularity of football works against itself in this scenario. and really, what's the difference of buying 1 team or 5. In the end, it's all the same. Also, Leipzig wasn't a distinguished club. It was in 5th or 6th division when RB took it over. It would be simple to consider that it never even existed.

You miss the point. I agree with the football is a huge business... But a strange contact binds the fan to the club. The crest, the spirituality, mottos, culture what the team represents. This makes a team special. And yeah maybe the fans are treated extremely well and and you get the hot dog free during the match, but this an empty shit.
