Venezuela Home Kit 2011

This is the new Venezuela kit for 2011/2012 manufactured by adidas.

As with the recent releases of the Brazil and Argentina kits and also the leaks of Paraguay and Mexico, you can see teams are gearing up for the approaching 2011 Copa América tournament in Argentina.

Adidas have also produced a new kit for the 'Vinotinto' to compete in at the tournament. You may think you're experiencing déjà vu as we only showed you their last kit less than a year ago. This shirt introduced a dark shade of grey into the Venezuelan colour scheme and the new one continues with it.

The shirt comes in their typical burgundy/vino colour and comes in the same design template as the recently released IFK Göteborg away kit and also Colorado Rapids (minus the collar) shirts. The collar here is asymmetrical with some detailing inside reading 'La Vinotinto somos todos' literally meaning "We are all Vinotinto' above the colours of the Venezuelan flag.

The back of the shirt sees more detailing in grey along with a touch of white, as well as this an FVF insignia can be seen at the back of the collar.

Looks like one of those fake training jerseys you can get at supermarkets in spain.

The shorts are nice though.

I like this shirt - except for the trim on the back. It looks much better in these colours than the Gothenberg one.

The concept behind the collar is nice, but I can see this becoming another overused adidas template for most lower-league clubs and "second-tier" adidas teams next season.

they should change the logo of their football association. it ruins the shirt.
