This is not a bad effort although the sponsor has me wondering-the letters are in cyrillic and probably would seem a better fit on a Red Star Belgrade shirt; Olympiakos has never had that sponsor, they went from Diana shoes in the early 1990s to MasterCard in the mid 1990s and then Aspis Bank to Siemens and finally Vodafone. That has me scratching my head-although it could be design thing and I am reading into things too much.

That aside, the shirt is also very reminiscent of one they had back in 1992-1994 I believe but nevertheless it is infinitely better than that eyesore Puma are offering.

In all, a nice one and apologies for being pedantic; I am a mad Olympiakos supporter.

Sorry about the sponsor, must have got it wrong. theres a version of this in the designfootball gallery as well, with slightly smaller crests (but still nice and big - I like big crests), and Hooped socks. Ill just change the sponsor - I wanted a nice Greek sponsor on the shirt. My bad. Ill have a white away kit - the socks will be the same, and the shorts will be reversed colours for when they need to change, I usually think and get an image of what a shirt should look like in my mind, then put it on canvas as it were. I have no idea what the white change should look like.

Cheers for the comments

Ah-an honest oversight; don't let my pendantry get to you. I get so excitable about these sorts of things as you can tell.

As for the crests, I agree I like them nice and big myself because unfortunately they are increasingly relegated by the sponsor logos etc. The away kit, I believe would be very novel to have red shorts with a white shirt (if I am understanding what you mean) and I quite like the idea of hooped socks-I always have for some reason. Anyway, I bet you could make it happen and execute it perfectly.

Theres a new version of this in the designfootball gallery with hooped socks, and the Aspis sponsor. I think Zorans Version is class, but I think that Umbro suits the legend better and having a different shirt supplier for each of the big Athens area clubs is better than having the same for two or three.

Amen to that-your assessment is right on the money MW on all counts; I liked it when each of the 3 had their own supplier-Pana in Adidas, OSFP in Umbro and AEK in Nike-that reminds me of when all 3 were in the Champions League at the same time many moons ago. Good times...
