AC Milan 2011/12 Adidas Home Kit

This is the new AC Milan home kit for the 2011-12 Italian Serie A season manufactured by Adidas.

The kit which was released today is a departure from last seasons strip white had only 2 black stripes down it, now umpteen black stripes grace this instantly recognisable top.

A lot more whte is also feature on the shirt, from my memory an unpresedented amount and the Adidas stripes have also been changed to white for the first time in Adidas' era

More pics to come.

Obviously the Adidas team have been on here.
So basically Joe, and anybody else that doesn't like it, gets hammered for having an opinion?!
The feedback is pretty split, which is how it should be.
Personally I think it's a bit over designed. The stripes and the white neck and cuffs look great. No need for all the side panels, trims and other splaff.
Take it on the chin Adidas.

Stop acting like a child. This argument could go on forever:

- No, it doesn't.
- Yes, it does.
- No, it doesn't.
- Yes, it does.

So please stop this, your fellow hun has said this already.

Again, my command of English has nothing to do with the fact that there's just one word missing. These mistakes may well be done in other languages, and especially here, as you can't edit your comments.

On the other hand, you forgot about the full stop, so shut up you "English language expert".

Again, your command of the English language IS affected by weather you miss out words or not.
If I were to write this sentence would you think I had a command on the English language?

‘The quick brown jumped over the lazy sleeping’

I highly doubt it.

Rob, you got it all wrong.
Dolce & Gabbana is only sponsoring Milan on tailoring their suits, and other leisure wears. Not the jerseys, it is Adidas ac milan department that designs the kits.

As an Inter fan, I have to bow down and saw this is a beautiful shirt, how anyone can dislike it I dont know...I was a huge fan of the thin stripes for the centenary kit in 2000, top effort from what was looking a poor 2011/12 season from adidas.

I don't like this at all, thin stripes don't look right and the white cuffs and patch on the back are really ugly as are the unstripes parts on the side. When done right red and black stripes look amazing, a good Milan shirt is a thing of beauty but this, unfortunately, is not.

Lovely, just lovely

If it hadn't been for the silly red panels on the side it'd be wonderful

Lovely kit, Milan had the stripes in this style when they first started so it harks back to then.

Simple, retro and nice. Classy shirt.

Too much white for the AC Milan heritage. However if the shorts would be black with the white stripes it would be a nice kit overall

I dont get it.
People critize shirts for being too simple and boring. Then when the shirts are a bit more unique people still complain.
Make up ur mind.

It'll be nice to see Il Rossoneri back in their original narrow red and black vertical stripes, but it'd look better if the side panels could be striped too, instead of a block red colour.

However, in my opinion, AC Milan have never had (and never will have) a kit as classic and timeless as the late 80's/early 90's Kappa/Adidas "Mediolanum" shirts of the Gullit-Van Basten era.

I absolutely love it. Though I'm intrigued as to how the shirt would look if the the trim were black instead of white, I think it works quite well and serves to accentuate the thin stripes.

Ultimately, I think your appreciation of this shirt depends on how you view the small stripes - if you prefer bolder, wider stripes for Milan strips, then you'll hate it, but if you find them to be stylish then you'll love it.

I'm very, very taken by this shirt, and I'm strongly considering buying one.

Now if only adidas would do away with the tacky, cluttered look that is 'techfit'...

I'm indifferent to it--it seems like they're trying too hard to straddle the line between classic and modern with the big "armband" type sleeve cuts, but I'm not so sure it works. It will still sell like hotcakes anyway.

The only let down is the sponsor. I hate the "Fly" part. If it were just "Emirates" then it would be decent.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan, but I'd really like to see it on the players first before I dismiss the design. It reminds me a bit of the thin striped Lotto shirts Nice wore. Those looked quite nice on the players.

Most here are glory hunts, and replicas. That being said, my prediction came true, we are unleashing history in our THIN STRIPED 2012 kits. I read a comment about the white cuffs not working; pff, this is where the white was needed instead of the the whit collar from the 09/10 season. Being a potential pro ftballer, and an artist, aswell as censoredy, I can say that I will be looking close to angelina Jolie in our new shirt here.

Cheers to all ACM suprters, fb me (Marcomanetta)

There aren't 'too many stripes'. This is Adidas' take on the historical AC Milan shirts of old.

Something different too.

So last year on here, people were complaining about what was then, the new A.C.Milan home shirt not having enough stripes, and this year everyone is complaining that it has too many!
I agree though, too many. Not a nice shirt. Much prefer the current one.
