Athletic Club de Bilbao have unveiled an exciting new away kit for the 2011/12 season, which is sure to interest their fans both in their native Spain and beyond. The club are to give their fans the opportunity to wear the new kit before the players, celebrating the important role they play at the Basque club.
For the next two weeks, 88 fans in and around Bilbao will be sporting the new kit, and will be tracked as they move around the area so you can see where and when the shirt is worn. The kit will then be handed over to the Athletic Club players before the first game in which it’ll be worn against Espanyol at the end of the month.
The new Athletic Club Bilbao away shirt is a fantastic design in the traditional colours of the Basque region, an area rich in history and tradition, which should provide a bold look on the pitch. The shirt features Bilbao’s iconic centenary dancer embroidered on the inside of the hem, offering a direct connection between the shirt and the fan, while the classic Bilbao red and white home colours feature in the neck line allowing fans to always take the club with them when they travel.
Technically, the Bilbao shirt is crafted to the highest specification from a textured fabric that provides comfort and breathability. With dart detailing for enhanced fit, the shirt also features a crew neck with concealed popper closure for a clean finish.

It would, though I doubt the FAW would commission a green away kit ever again (due to bad luck).
Its a superb away kit for Athletic Bilbao, Umbro are turning out some real quality kits (except for E*****d of course).

The red and white horizontal stripes go all the way around the sleeve, but the back is all green. I believe it makes a very nice effect because from the back, only the sleeves look red and white.
Unfortunately I can't watch the video here in Germany...

As an Atletico de Madrid supporter, I just can imagine this jersey with dark or light blue as an away Atletico de Madrid jersey.
Now that Nike owns Umbro...could we have Umbro at least for one year? I would like to see Atletico de Madrid ``taylored´´ jerseys, as Bilbao does.

Not a bad design but Umbro do need to start thinking about new templates/ideas soon. Retro is starting to become retrogressive!! Is it me or does it sometimes feel like everything has been done before?
