Bayer 04 Leverkusen 11-12 away adidas football shirt

This is the new Bayer 04 Leverkusen 11/12 away kit made by Adidas.

The away shirt symbolises unity and identification. Werkself fans have the opportunity to show their support in a unique way. The line from the club song "Bayer 04 wir stehen zu Dir!" - “BAYER 04 WE STAND BY YOU!” is woven in red inside the top of the shirt at the back.

The visual highlight of the away kit is a beige area across the chest which contrasts with the white shirt. The kit includes white shorts and white socks with “B04” on and red stripes to give it a final touch.

Bayer 04 sporting director Rudi Völler: “I think it’s turned out really well as a classic shirt that stands out with its red, beige and white colours.”

The new away kit is to be used for the first in the final game of the current Bundesliga campaign. The Werkself will wear the kit for the first time in Saturday’s away game at SC Freiburg.

The new Bayer 04 away kit is available from Friday 13 May

Thanks to Robert

Interesting...not sure I like that cream colour, seems at odds with the bold red...I guess maybe adidas thought doing the cream bits red or black would be boring, but for me I'm not sure I like the cream.

It looks better with the players wearing it.

The beige is not the problem, for me. I think there are many ways to make tan/cream/beige work in football kits. What doesn't work here is beige on white, which looks very drab, like boring paint colours for a boring office or something.

Leverkusen started as a Bayer work team.

Much like the relationship between PSV Eindhoven and Philips (PSV stands for "Philips Sport Vereniging", Philips Sports Union).

This shirt reminds me of the of the time I spent in the Black Forest, near Frieburg in the summer of 1977. Kevin Keegan had just joined Hamburg, Boney M were number 1 in the pop charts with `Rivers of Babylon` and I discovered `man love` with my cousins friend, Dieter Lungfish. He was 6` 8" and had beautiful blonde hair and a huge Germanic head. He reminded me of a taller, fatter Gary Shaw. We laughed, we sang, we ate sausages. I fell in love. I never saw him again after that summer. I found out later he married Gerard Houllier. He died in forklift truck accident in 1986. He was 27 years old. I will never forget him.

I think this shirt is smashing. I just really do. And those two goose-necked gents modelling it look splendid too. I bet they can play a bit. And when they have finished, its into the shower to lather each other down then a bit of naked wrestling (for bonding purposes of course!). Oh how I wish i could be a team mate of Aston Villa`s Richard Dunne. He`s a big brute but he`s got lovely eyes and a cheeky smile. I like ashley Young too. He`s got a nice bum.

I love the long shorts. They remind me of the time I worked as a hairdresser for Bayern Munchen in the early 80`s. Everyone wanted perms except Karl Heinz Rummenigge. He just wanted an Elvis quiff. I said to him "Karl Heinz, why dont you want a perm like Dieter and the boys?" He just used to say "Ronnie, he was the King and I want to be the King of the Bundesliga". Smashing bloke, terribly dry hair though.

Product Description You may have seen Fitflop 's summer sandals to help you, but what to do when the weather turns cooler? That's when you trade them in for the Super Boat Short boot. If you sure its soft leather upper, rounded sole and the love that increases leg, calf and buttock muscle activity, improves posture and reduces stress on your lower back and feet. Now every trip is a workout-without disrupting your busy lifestyle.Because of the manufacturer created in the United Kingdom, over a two year collaboration between former Bliss spa entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore, Biomechanist Dr. David Cook and a team of untiring footwear engineering, Fitflop were initially designed to help modern women squeeze a little!
More exercise into their increasingly hectic schedules. "I thought, how wonderful if I could imagine that would help fight the onset of cellulite while I walk to the office," says Kilgore. "I work. I have children. I have a husband. And the likelihood of me seeing the inside of a gym in the next ten years is slim to none. That said, I would obviously prefer to go with slim." Kilgore found Dr. Cook at the Centre for Human Performance at LSBU in London, where he was injecting the patent-pending "micro-wobble board" technology in mind in the midsole of the feature-forward flip flop. Slightly destabilizing, Fitflop feature three different densities of EVA foam in a single merged under the feet part, for challenge your muscles more every time you step – to provide a workout while you walk.

For once I think the sponsor adds to this shirt
Imagine how bad this would look with just the cream band, the red of the sponsor really picks it up.

Not the best, but nevertheless, not bad. Even though I am seld keen on meek hues on football strips, the mild sand hued band kinda works yielded across the chest, but I must forewarn that this cream is not a winner crafted down the sides. Has witnessed in Leverkusen's strip - deftness of draft masters the overstrong of draft when it comes to the crafting of kitware.

Am I right in thinking Leverkusen's badge minds me of Leyton Orient's badge, and that neighbours 1FC Koln, Fortuna Koln and indeed Leverkusen all play behued in some kind of red and white!
