Adidas and Bayern Munich revealed the new Bayern Munich 11/12 Home football shirt, which will be available here.
In keeping with the powerful sense of a fresh start at the club, and after a season without silverware in 2010/11, Bayern will seek to recapture past glories next term in an all-new, red and gold home kit. The strip, unveiled on Tuesday at the Allianz Arena, perfectly symbolises the Reds’ quest for a new golden era.
“I really like the shirt. I think it’s a wonderful combination of Bayern’s terrific red, together with gold, which represents success,” commented club president Uli Hoeneß at the launch of the new jerseys. “The job now is to lay the foundations for a season worthy of the shirt.”
“The shirt is very, very classy, and a perfect fit with Bayern,” said club captain Philipp Lahm. Replica kit goes on sale from 13 May, and will be premiered a day later in the last fixture of the season at home to VfB Stuttgart. “In my personal opinion, the new home shirt is one of the best Bayern will ever have worn. We’re all looking forward to it,” added chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Bastian Schweinsteiger joined in the chorus of praise for the new design: “adidas have already provided us with many great shirts, but I reckon this one’s way out in front.” Looking ahead to the new campaign, the Germany international voiced hopes of “a golden season. That would be very appropriate.”
The player said he would have to think carefully before the customary swapping of shirts at the end of a game. “I don’t think I’ll be doing it very often. And if I do, it’ll have to be the big-name players,” Schweinsteiger grinned.

True to the club’s motto Mia san Mia (We are who we are), the kit strongly symbolises unity and togetherness. The shirt boasts a number of special design elements, such as the sloganMia san Mia woven into the collar in a classic font. The outside of the collar features the word Rekordmeister (record-holding league champions).
Subtle stripes are the centrepiece of the overall design, in homage to the Münchner Kindl, the figure depicted on the city of Munich’s coat of arms. The shorts and socks are dark red, with flair and style added by the golden stripes and detailing.
The new official catalogue including the 2011/12 home kit is available for pre-order in our online shop. Sign up for your copy now, and be one of the first to receive the catalogue bang on time for the final match of the campaign.

Gold and Red go really well :)
Quoting JONESY896:
Nice shirt
Inside the collar it says "Mia san Mia", which is bavarian and means "We are, who we are".
On back neck stands what they are: "Rekordmeister" which means "record-holding champions".
You do not have to know more about Bayern Munich. Such
conceited idiots!
It is all about titles.
They win one: It's not a suprise and no one cares about it.
They fail: Chairmen, fans and newspapers are whining - Germany's laughing.
So Bayern are the German equivalent of Man U then......?
No. It's not.
Sub my Youtube
Where is Aston Villa today? Second League i think!
But it is a very nice and classy kit. Better than this season!!
I like the shade of red they used, and the gold goes with it very well.
When Adidas does something good, no other company can match.
Beautiful.
Und jetzt alle zusammen: S C H E I S S F C B !!
VfB Oooollleeee!!!
A bit Russia 09-10 looking indeed, but still a nice combination.
The .T..Com logo is too dominant - surely it should have been gold.
Also am I the only one who thinks of their fake PES 4 name whenever i see 'Rekordmeister'?
... german national team
Great looking kit by the way.
its to mutch clasik. more action in this kit would be better
exact template, piping even subtle pin stripe effect !
Its a real nice kit and much like what I would like to see with the Liverpool home shirt in the sense of the gold on red !
It looks snazzy
W*nkers!
I really don't know. Some clubs in Germany tend to do so. I think it looks horrible. In my opinion there's no need to display the club's name/logo anywhere but on the chest...
The template is not bad but the I don´t like this combination of red and gold.
Maybe with a darker red and darker gold...more than Russia (the maroon and gold one)
Germany´s national-team. Its german for "The Team".
In germany it is usual to say "DFB-11(Elf)"
Love FCB!!!!
The same thing with the players name at the bottom...
Unfortunately the colour is much brighter and the red colour doesn't has anything in common with the russian jersey...
I think this jersey is just boooooring, but it's better than Inter, Barca or Atletico
bayern or milan kit is better?
