Birmingham City 11-12 Xtep home away football shirts

These are the new Birmingham City home and away kits for the 2011-12 season, which are available to pre-order now.

What's more Birmingham City has once again shown it is a 'proper club', to coin the words of new manager Chris Hughton, by taking on board the views of everyone connected with the club in coming up with the new designs.

Supporters' opinions were gauged with regards to the home strip and the overwhelming response was that the loyal followers, want a kit that is all royal blue.

The playing squad were shown various designs for the away strip and they opted for this charcoal and blue striped number.

Having had the cheapest shirts in the Barclays Premier League last year there is a slight increase this year to reflect increased production costs and VAT but prices are very much in line with other clubs.

Adult short-sleeved shirts are £40 and juniors £30. Infant mini-kits will be available for £32.

Options with regards to potential shirt sponsors are still under consideration so exact dates of sale will be confirmed here at bcfc.com as soon as possible.

Thanks to Pete

If the away kit had the same blue as the home, it would be a lot better.

Better than last years, the greater inclusion of blue makes it a smart kit. Pleasantly surprised by Xtep.

Not sure if the 'Xep's on the right sleeve and left leg are really necessary, but the home kit is very smart. Not sure on the away kit's uneven stripes, either. Lovely choice of colours, though.

Home one is best, but away one is equally quality.
Built for the Premiership, unfortunatley for Blues fans, they'll only be dominating the Championship in it.

Good luck

Very nice home jersey. I don´t like the xtep logos on the right cuff. The collar is a copy of Kaiserrlautern Do You Football kits of season 2009 - 2010.

http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/1/1.-fc-kaiserslautern/old-1.-fc-kaiserslautern-football-shirt-s20557.html

Deadly dull home strip, I'm no fan of BCFC but "Blouse" fans deserve better than this half arsed effort from Cross Stitch.

Will cause a dilemma in the Far East though - how will they they make a cheap, shiny Chinese fakeswhen the original is cheap, shiny and Chinese?
