Girondins de Bordeaux 11/12 Puma Home Shirt Leaked

This is reportedly the new Girondins de Bordeaux home shirt for the 2011 - 2012 French Ligue 1 season produced by Puma.

As per usual the new Bordeaux shirt features a V type design in the chest area of the shirt, this time though using Puma's paint effect stripes rather than solid colour.

Last season saw Bordeaux sport a more unual combination of blue, pink and white to celebrate their 130th year anniversary, this has now been ditched in favour of a slight ly more traditional scheme of just dark blue and white.

Traditional really isn't the first word that comes to mind upon seeing the new shirt combining multiple shades of blue as well as seemingly using the pait effect upon every white part of the shirt which for me comes across as far too busy.

Dude, Girondins de Bordeaux was founded in 1881, Melbourne Victory in 2004. So who copied who?

-3 # 2011-04-07 07:09
settle down roger, no one said they copied, blueavenger simply implied that the two clubs kits look very similar...and they do

You're right. They look similar because Melbourne Victory's President is a huge fan of the Girondins. ;)

Paint effect?? It is obviously styled on chalk - the lines and the V looks like the old school blackboard 'rubber' has been dragged along it.

But I like it, different! :)

The paint thing was cool for the African national teams at the World Cup but having a club team in Europe with it is just sorta ridiculous. Doesn't look good.

Pretty slick, looks like its been put as is from paper to shirt, with the rough brush strokes and pinstripes, the collar does ruin it a bit though

I like the paint effect in the ``V´´, but I don´t like the horizontal lines.

They make the jersey too ``busy´´.

NIce jersey.
