This is the new Borussia Dortmund home shirt for the 2011/2012 UEFA Champions League tournament manufactuered by Kappa.
Kappa have released the new shirt to tie in with the German's club return to the competition after a nine year absence from the group stage of the tournament.
The shirt has been slowly revealed on the official website all week along with a Champions League montage of images disapearing to finally reveal the shirt.
The main difference between this version and the regular Bundesliga kit is the removal or the small squares which are replace by an asymmetrical line pattern.

Like somebody above said, they could have harked back to the club's triumph in the competition to get some inspiration for this kit, such as by using the fluorescent yellow colour- this kit is okay, just not special or remarkable in any way.
Those that T-shirts need?
With one is sufficient.

BOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo
Now KAPPA wants to make a few bucks with them, better hurry cos Dortmund will be with PUMA next season...
you heard it here first
I predict an early exit in the group stages. average Team in europe just able to impress in mediocre Bundesliga.
new plymouth argyle kit.
oh, great kit btw! :)
yes, yes it is.
Borrussia Dortmund hey hahahahaha! Somehow this shirt doesn't quite match up to the great fluo yellow/green shirts of the mid 90's that one of the greatest champions league teams of all time once wore! Fastforward 15 years and you've got this tacky unclassy trikot along with a shit team that competes in a weak bundesliga and is going to get embarrased in the uefa champions league! Its the fans i feel sorry for!
The Waz man says : 4 out of 10 MEH!!!!!!!!
We meet again, King Warrior
Borussia Dortmund - Olympique de Marseille 4:0
OM - BVB 0:2
If that should be the only victories for them in this year's CL
I'd be glad though!
F.....ing French bastards! .........Just Kidding!
