chesterfield fc 11/12 respect third football shirt

The new Chesterfield FC third strip is officially launched for the first time this Friday and a limited number of adult replica shirts go on sale in the club superstore on a first come first served basis.

The new third strip is being launched to avoid colour clashes with other teams which play in blue and white during the 2011-12 season.

The third kit is being launched ahead of the Spireites visit to Hillsborough to play Sheffield Wednesday on 8 October but can also be used when necessary for other away matches as well, such as Huddersfield Town and Colchester United.

Just... why? Remember the days when clubs would just chose an away kit that didn't clash with anyone else's kits? It was a simpler, happier time....

More teams should have green away strips, Norwich, Dagenham and Chesterfield all have lovely green away kits, getting sick of everyone having white kits

I'm still trying to work out why everyone thinks it's so bad. Ok, it's not the greatest thing ever made but it looks like a pretty simple and clean design...it's nice. There's nothing outlandish or horrible about it. From reading above it doesn't sound like it will be used all that often. If you don't like it. Don't buy it.
