Colchester united 11-12 puma away football shirt

This is the new Colchester United 11/12 away football shirt made by Puma. The U's will be back in yellow for their clash kit next season, after the new strip was revealed at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Friday night.

The new kit is reminiscent of Sweden's national kit and will no doubt prove popular with the club's Swedish branch of supporters in the coming campaign.

The yellow kit with blue detailing is matched up with blue shorts and will provide a vibrant look for the U's when they're not able to wear the blue and white stripes on their travels.

Another generic run-of-the-mill template from Puma. Badge should be about 20% bigger. Collar too big.

Another copy/paste Puma identikit.

What's all the witter about looking a bit like Sweden's colours? Plymouth play in green, does this make them massively popular in Ireland?

there has been debate on the club boards about whether the colar should be blue, but i think that would be ott on the blue myself.

also a side note is that the sponsor has agreed to change the colours of their logo to fit with the shirt on this one. usually its a diagonal split with red top half.

puma must be doing a good deal for clubs, but there are too many of the same template about now.

It's not going to win any prizes for creativity, but yet it's a - though simple - nice jersey.

The colors look really well together, I personally like the blue stripes on the shoulders, and the sponsor fits right in also.

Simple, and yet quite nice.

Puma have had the laziest year EVER!

"Change the colour here, change the colour there and now just to plonk the sponsor on and "Hey Boss, I've done another one!""

I think it's good but could be better. The collar for me is a bone of contention. I'd prefer to see a collarless version with a 'v' shape collar as per current Liverpool Away or Sunderland Home kits.

Can't wait for us to stroll out in it at Hartlepool, Sheff Weds, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Carlisle, Oldham, Tranmere, Wycombe, Chesterfield and Bury - blimey! At least it'll get some use this season!

TBH, Puma, Adidas and Nike are 3 of the worst kit designers in the world but get such credit for nothing.

Adidas, Their material sucks, pulls as soon as you get it ou the bag..

Nike have horrible templates and very dull colour schemes.

Puma overuse their templates.

Big designer kits have stopped being good since 2005-ish since the templates started kicking in.

As a Chelsea fan for over 20 years, I'd HONESTLY rather have someone like Errea or even bloody Macron over the three big designers.

I'd really like this kit if it wasn't the same template as Burnley and PNE. Looks alright though.
