Eh, both collars are a downgrade from their previous ones. This is a solid shirt, but not as good as last year's (very similar but with a better collar) shirt.

I don't think the clubs add a star till after a season passes. They wear the MLS Cup scudetto for the first season after the win.

Anyone else notice the 5280 on the collar? I thought about it for half a second and remembered that Denver is 5280 feet above sea level. Something their sports teams are very proud of, and have that fact plastered in all their changing rooms.

The flag isn't for patriotism... it is since MLS is in USA and Canada, and if you take a look at the Toronto jersey, there is a Canadian flag
