Crystal Palace 2011/12 Nike Home Kit

This is the new Crystal Palace home shirt for the 2011/2012 English Championship season produced by Nike.

In December we brought you news about Crystal Palace allowing their fans to vote on certain designs for their new kits. Now the home kit has been decided, produced and put on pre-order sale.

The kit uses the now familar design of Nike's jagged stripes down the chest and sleeves. The shorts and socks revert back to blue for the new season also.

Thanks to Laddiniho, Boki and asdustdances

I'm sure they are real. I think AVFC meant the way they relate to the background, which I agree seems a little poor.

Yes there was a vote, poor choices tho. You don't see the zig zags from a distance. Thought it looked good yesterday at match. See all CPFC and many more at www.kitclassics.co.uk

It is the NIKE ENERGY 2011 teamsport template here. But you can´t expect Nike to design a unique kit for every team. I think it is nice.

Looks sunday league.

I'm not a Palace fan but I have never understood why they wear blue and red stripes when I always think of them in all white with the diagonal blue and red sash.

Average really !
Been very disappointed with all the Nike kits so far as I feel that Adidas have been both more adventurous and classier with the design while still remaining respectful.

This season Nike had some bold designs such as Inter Home/ Away etc but this year very boring even 'pub team' template for all... :zzz :zzz :zzz :zzz :zzz

More history for you Jack Lad.... The Wednesday had already progressed from hoops to blue & white stripes before FC Porto were even formed.

I agree with your point though.

They have tried to chage it from their Nike Park template by using zig zags which I think runins the kit for me.

How hard is it to make a decent Palace home kit? I know the colours aren't great to work with, but i don't think i've ever seen a home kit of theirs that hasn't been absolutely hideous.

Ah yes - Palace. In my lifetime they've played in claret shirts with sky blue pinstripes, just white, sky blue shirts with claret pin stripes, white shirts with claret and blue blocks, YELLOW shirts with white shorts and socks, red and blue striped shirts, white shirts with diagonal red and blue sashes - etc etc. These clowns can even decide what colours they play in - laughable...

Awful kit! Palarse fans won't be pleased with another pub-team kit!

Nothing will better the awesome Palarse adidas kit from 1996-98.

not sure what people are moaning for, even though it is a template its still a nice kit, well chosen by the palace backroom staff as it has obviously come straight out of the nike teamwear catalogue.

Same hear and it was a classic too. Had their best years in it too. Palace should go back to all white with red and blue sash. Can keep the red and blue stripe kit has an away kit. Palace haven't never seemed bothered to make use of that kit nor population down there. Nutters.

Why cant we have a proper collar on the shirt!!! every year the club now give fans a choice between 3 different designs. They should give fans a blank kit to decide on a design that should be entered by christmas to get to suppliers in plenty of time.Adidas white with red/blue sash in the days of Kevin Mabbutt was my fave CPFC kit!!
