Energie Cottbus 2011/12 Umbro Home Shirt

This is the new Energie Cottbus shirt for the 2011/2012 German 2. Bundesliga season produced by Umbro.

The shirt is plain red with silk style stripes and a round neck collar with a small amout of white trim.

German discount supermarket chain Penny-Markt should remain as principle sponsor for the new season although a deal has not yet been finalised.

Cottbus will play in their new shirt for the first time on Sunday against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen.

Nice looking shirt, even if it is the Nottingham shirt.
I really don't like the Umbro logo on the sleeves, though. It's already on the chest; putting one on each arm kind of seems like overkill, doesn't it? (Yes, I know Puma, Lotto, Kappa, and Adidas do this too)

Dont talk to me about Peter Sissons!. I married his sister in 1986. Two years later she left me for Trevor McDonald. He was a tyre fitter at Kwik-Fit in Dudley Town Centre. She said he had "nice hands" and made "her tummy feel nice ". He`s welcome to her.

This shirt reminds me of when I was the official make-up artist for the 1982 England World Cup squad. Ron Greenwood used to say "Ronnie, make them look like film stars and if you can make Dave Watson look human theres a nice crisp tenner in it for you". I tried but Dave didnt have the skin to take an ivory foundation, he still looked like a gorilla. Mick Mills used to like me trimming his moustache, he said I made him look like "one of the Village People!". Happy Days.
