These are the new 2011 - 2012 away and goalkeeper shirts for the England National Team manufactured by Umbro, which will be available here.
Worn with pride by the England football team, the new England away shirt exemplifies Umbro’s understanding of the team’s history with a willingness to embrace modern fabric technology.
In a deep blue colour, the England shirt features a smart collar in a lighter blue inspired by traditional shirts, with a comfortable, one-button fastener.
The main body of the football shirt is crafted from an innovative polyester/cotton moisture management fabric to keep players cool on the pitch, while the arms are built from a flexible material to aid movement. Another innovative feature is the 360º pivot armhole, which offers total movement without any restrictions. The England crest and Umbro logo are embroidered on the chest.

Then I scrolled down and seen the keepers kit.
Joe Hart, Rob Green WHOEVER is going to look like a member of a digital gay club with that
That or vomit...
A) Its different. You have to give umbro credit for that even if it's
beyond diabolical.
B) It's retro. Yup.
C) It'll certainly stand out.
D) Hmmm...
Yes. Way.
and is that haye
Thanks for that, BBC Sport.
goalkeeper is
umbro need to start to find the line between original and ridiculous.
is this your excuses starting already?
A semi-final place would be over-achieving.
England's supporters need to lower their expectations and have a bit more patience with the players.
This being said, the goalkeeper's kit is vomit-inducing.
The away shirt is quite nice. I like the star being nearly invisible. If only our delusions of grandeur became as less obvious.
B. It's Klitschko
C. How do you know?
D. Haye's a better boxer anyway
yep. unlucky,
gk kit rules! They away shirt should have been like this, with 4 tones of red!
The outfield kit looks like a training top as well.
away looks like a polo but it ok
Well Joe Hart is now wearing Umbro Geometra Boots, which could explain why it looks like this.
The Away shirt ain't much better. Poor effort Umbro
also love the away (ENGLAND COPY OUR COLOURS)
poor england
The current home set are bad, with the multicoloured crosses and pink trim on the goalie shirt, but these are a joke.
If they wanted a "crazy" goalie shirt, they should've gone back to the red Euro 96 one with Refresher sweet packet socks
2. I Prefer The Red on The Away Shirt
3. Also Are We Having Home & Away Every Season Months Now
Keeper looks like a nurse uniform.
It won't look nice on any person stupid enough to buy it though.
Superb! Epic fail by Umbro!

GK Shirt - even worse than the red GK from 1996 that went with the grey away kit
Mon the scotland ;)
As a previous poster said though, it might look good on Joe Hart or whoever on the pitch. Prob not on some fat bloke in Asda though........
The away too, everyone was complaining about the contrasting cuffs, now its a design feature that now looks really good.
The current home is pretty class, its a really high quality outfit, and in a comparison of the materials and the finish of the shirt, nothing comes close.
This one, well its not red, and I do belive it should be, but it looks understated and classy, like a lot of umbro products, and the quality will be pretty high.
My main gripe is the launch. This should have been kept on hold untill feb next year at the earliest, and the current home should have been launched this year. Most kits should have a two year lifespan, and lauching one every year is a bad idea for the reasons that it pressurizes manfacturers to come up with new ideas every season, when thats a hard thing to do a lot of the time, and often, shirts are "growers", the last England kit is. By the time a shirt is popular sometimes, its replaced by an inferior product.

I like this kit. But Id like it a lot more if it was in red
Fortunately, though, by the time they grow on us, they're at least half off on Kitbag.
But saying that, it still a classy shirt, not to sure about the keepers shirt though, it looks like a game of tetrus rong.
Where is the blue in Italy's flag? Or white in Germany? Green in Northern Ireland? It's good that away kits should be in different colours - sky blue or royal blue would also have been good.
Why stop there - yellow shirt, blue shorts and white socks?
goalie kit pahahahahaha
Not that it matters - I refuse to buy England shirts now, since they broke the "one kit every 2 years" tradition.
the away is ok...more of a polo one but its plain and simple
The keeper kit is just off the scale and by far the worst think I've ever seen. It will suit the women's team, and will make Joe Hart look even more effeminate than he already does.
just like the previous red shirt then....
wat the hell have they done with the goalkeeper shirt
lets play our home internationals at Ibrox aswell
Away Shirt - 8/10
Keeper - 10/10 (originality)
Keeper - 1/10 (substance)
Then, I scroll down... and
joke. its gotta be a joke
the player shirt looks a lot more like a polo shirt then a jersey...and i prefer england to have red away shirts but i do know that every now and then they switch it up and wear a non red away shirt
goalkeeper shirt: a straight jacket would look better!
God Save the Queen...
Because that's how good we are. In fact we're not even that good.

AHHHH owned.
The trophy's in the bag boys!!!
Goalie kit=
'What Fresh Hell Is THIS?'
Facepalm & Fail (D)UMBRO
As for the GK shirt, it`s quite hideous. But maybe what could have saved it is if the cross pattern had the same size throughout the shirt, and if it was running down the entirety of the sleeves.
If I was Joe Hart, I would refuse to wear that. Did they ask him before they made it.
Gay Tron
I like the goalkeeper shirt as much as I like mario ballotellis hat, I wouldnt ever wear either in public though.
May main point would be, stop fleecing us FA that is 3 new kits IN 1 YEAR (2 AWAY 1 HOME)
They wore the red one, what 3 times just before and during the world cup once again shows how greedy the FA are, no doubt to supplement Mr Capello's back pocket.

I like it a lot. Come at me.
As far as the goalie shirt goes, it's certainly very retro. And while the past can certainly be nice to revisit on some occasions, there are times when an ugly design remains ugly even with the passage of time. That said, there are worse examples of retro shirts they could have pulled out of the mothballs. The 1996 and 1993 keeper shirts were both considerably more awful, even the '88 shirt was worse. Just have to keep a bit of prospective here.
The GK shirt is a joke. The people who designed it were probably stoned.
It wouldn't surprise me if the GK shirt was designed by the same bloke who designed the home kit with the multicoloured crosses on it. Mind you it ain't as bad as the first choice GK shirt, which is shocking and looks like an old woman's pullover with the crosses and magenta stitching on it.
So that, all in all, along with the outfield players' kits...... it's another awful effort for an awful team (better than Brazil? sorry, but no).
and the away kit look like a training shirt
the Goalkeeper kit - HELL NO!!!
after more than 40 years it starts to fade away......
1st game, 1st defeat! Won't be the last England. Promised.
But the FA's incompetent marketing department have put England in Scotland-style navy blue.
the goalkeepers shirt looks like the count came up with it on sesame street. it's horrible.
all in all it's a weak performance from umbro. i usually love their shirts and i like the stylish retro look they've had lately. at least you could wear them in public, but if you leave the house in the keepers top you'll probably have your head kicked in by a bunch of chavs...
brilliant idea
Bet you spent hours thinking about that one didn't you? How old are you? 12?
