FC Schalke 2011/12 Away & Third Adidas Kits

These are the new FC Schalke away and third kits for the 2011/12 German Bundesliga season manufactured by Adidas.

The new away kit is white in colour and has thin light blue pinstripes giving it a classic look with a modern styling. The shirt also contains adidas' three stripes in Schalke's traditional royal blue colour. The white shorts take follow suit with the shirt and also contain a pinstriped design also in light blue. The socks are white with Schalke 'S04' logo.

The third kit comes in a colour called "Ultra Beauty" and contains contrasting with satin effect stripes with white adidas stripes on the shoulders. Dark blue shorts and "Ultra Beauty" coloured socks again with the S04 logo.

The white away kit will be presented before the home game against 1 FSV Mainz 05 on the May 7th and the third kit will be put on sale May 18th and played in for the first time in the cup final against MSV Duisburg on May 21st.

Thanks to Henning,Marcel,Karsten and keeper

Those pinstripes on the short make the kit look like a baseball uniform and i didnt pictured Schalke playing in that wine kinda tone, not bad tho

Well, they just need a third colour as Hertha Berlin is playing in the Bundesliga again next season (they're blue and white stripes)... Schalke always uses different colours for their third shirt, I remember an orange one not too long ago.

You people complain about the big manufacturers never trying anything new. Then when they do (pin stripes on shorts) you still complain. I think its a neat idea, makes the whole uniform look very streamlined.

Well, I've already seen pinstripes on shorts in football. Not very common, but they're not something new.

Very very nice, love that maroon away kit! Pinstriped shorts are interesting, not sure if it will catch on though.

Quoting FrazW14:
Third jersey is too like the home of Nurnberg

Couldn't agree more. I don't know though if they are doing that intentionally due to the fact that Schalke and Nurnberg supporters are friendly withe each other.

Now there's a throwback to the 80s - pinstripes on shorts. Really like the away kit - the third kit's nice, too, but they'll barely wear it. I think Hoffenheim and Hertha away would be about it.

I love the striped shorts. It really helps make the uniform look like all of a piece, wither then having a striped top and plain bottoms and ending up with the two looking mismatched.

Very nice. However I feel they would look even better if they had long ruffled sleeves... like what Meatloaf wears.

Stripes on the shorts, brave but a very nice detail, well done Adidas., All 3 colours on the 3rd kit are different (Red, Navy Blue & Black!)

The away reminds me of Marseille's home shirt from a couple of years ago, but stripey shorts? Jury is still out on those.

As for that last picture...That has to be the cheesiest thing I've ever seen on here.

I like the "ultra bauty"-one more than the white kit. But I need to have a look, how the colour looks like in real...
