FC St. Pauli 2011/12 Do You Football Home, Away and Third Kits

These are the new FC St Pauli home, away and third kits for the 2011/12 German 2. Bundesliga season manufactured by Do You Football.

Launched yesterday in Hamburg, Do You Football invited St Pauli fans down to their studio offering the new shirt for free in exchange for a photograph showing off 'the heart' of FC St. Pauli. A full gallery of all the pictures can be found on DYF's Facebook page here.

All three kits feature a striped design with brown featuring on all of them. The home uses white to give a light looking with a classic feel to it with the folded collar.

The away has a round neck and uses black as it's variant colour, the design does look quite similar to the 10/11 home shirt however.

The third shirt has a further collar variation with this one being a v-neck. The colour scheme here is taken from the St. Pauli crest given quite a different look to most shirts you're likely see.

It's difficult to go wrong with stripes (the adidas Stoke/Plymouth template from last year being one of the few exceptions).

Bold, classy, classic and unique; a great set of kits.

P.S. Yes, the middle dude does have a giant head.

What about the socks? Why do all three kits have brown stripes? I suppose there will never be a case where all three kits will clash with someone's home kit. And yeah that man has a strange sized head.

1. I wondered about the socks too, I assume they have brown or black or white or red or all of the above, like a chocolate sundae with strawberries.

2. brown stripes: because someone wiped their arse?

3. does anyone else play in brown? That's what they had last season I think, maybe they've gone white so they can actually use their away/third kits.

4. that guy's head is mega huge. And he seems to be from the 1970s.

Loving the home short, they've hit the retro/ vintage look right on the head with that collar, less keen on the round neck on the away strip.
Soon as i saw the guy in the middle i thought it was a bad piece of photoshop, but instead it turns out that he has the biggest head i've ever seen. Extraordinary.

I dont like the logo of the kit maker. The colours are also hideous and the sponsor ruins it. I dont like how the stripes are cut by the sponsors. This is the worst kit that Ive ever sene.

Bit conservative for Sankt Pauli shirts. No skulls, no crossbones, a bit conservative. A St Pauli shirt can be classic looking, but with the sash or the chestband style, or all black. These look a bit dull. Guess the bar was set pretty high last year.

Also the shirts are horrible, except the red one..its not too bad

Sankt Pauli are anorchists and do not conform to normal football trends, hence why supporters and kits are unique. Myself, I love their kits and their identity. they got beaten 8-1 by Bayern last season yet celebrated their consolation goal as if they had won the league. I hope they keep going.

I've been waiting on bended legs for these kits and I'm not too disappointed. Maybe not as good as last year's, but they'd be hard pushed to beat it.

Love the home and away... not sure about the third.

I've already seen this Kappa kit, it isn't striped shirt of them.
I only think there's a some kind of sinthonia, a relation of identity between the club and the brand, due theirs cool releases.

Hard to get it?

I think i could of SHAT out better kits... Clearly not! as i believe that is what has all ready been done! The male or female "designer" in question most definitely has a diet which contains a high amount of chocolate Sunday's maybe a bit of toffee and they'll only be hitting at least 2 of their five a day. 2 strawberries!

So I take it you jumped on the bandwagon of a moderately decent German club and decided everybody outside the top 5 in Germany is useless? They may not be world beaters but I'd put money on their supporters carrying themselves with more dignity than you. Your argument of them wearing brown through being a useless team is laughable, how old are you? Grow up.

I know the story behind this.
St Pauli have a close affiliation with Celtic and these pictures are a result of a recent 'Fan Swap'.
That oddity in the middle is none other then Mad Mick 'Monster-Heid' McMongol frome the East End of Glasgow. He stays in a caravan with his sister, and that wee boy is their son Igor.
