Hearts 2011/2012 Umbro Away Kit

This is the new Heart of Midlothian shirt for the 2011/2012 Scottish Premier League season manufactured by Umbro.

The Jambos new shirt is part of Umbro's 'Tailored' range and features a slate grey striped design with pink pinstipes to break up the look. Within the lighter stripes there is also a zig-zag pattern.

Hearts also show off their new sponsorship with Wonga.com who also sponsor Blackpool in the English Premier League.

The kit is finished off with dark grey shorts and socks while the socks feature a pink band around them.

Thanks to junglebhoy and Boldylocks81

Truly bizarre. I like it when manufacturers take a chance and do something different, but when "different" means giving a horrible sponsor not just a contrasting colour on the chest, but then over the whole shirt as pinstripes and in huge bands on the socks, you're looking at a disaster.

Feel sorry for hearts. This would have been a classy shirt if all of the pink had been the same colour as the team badge. Terrible decision.

Absolutely. It's a shame for Umbro as well with all the great kits they had been prooducing recently. Hearts colors are amazing, lets hope the home kit's a better effort

I'd say for a change, the sponsor influences the kit and makes it better. The pin(k)stripes go with the sponsor logo as well as contrasting with the grey base colour. The herring bone pattern in the stripes is also unique, it is a clever strip, and you can't say it's run off the mill and boring.

Fresh kit, +1 Umbro.

This isn't a tailored shirt, the only club that has this privelege is Man City. This is just a standard Umbro design, like every other Umbro-supplied team.

This is going to be a love it or hate it and i love it. Really retro and unique to any other kit around. Really like it. My only grumble would be the sponsor that slightly ruins it.

I'd still love to buy the kit though. Umbro are really pumping out some fascinating kits this season.

Refreshing to read the responses without the usual secterian bile spouted on here whenever SPL clubs are featured on here.

Like the pattern on the stripes, but obviously the sponsor ruins it all.

WHy oh why have Umbro dumped us on the 'PInk' bandwagon??!

Slate grey with Maroon would have been nice - WONGA is fine as a sponsor but NEEDS to be in the team colours.

Wonga is a pink logo, so i think its better to run that pink a across the kit a little bit so that its not so obvious.

people on here seem to forget the while Umbro (or others as well) design the kits, the clubs themselves often decide what colors to run with and the manufacture has to run with that.

same with look, many a time a kits been ruined but a club executive not budging on something ugly on a shirt, and the manufacture gets the blame.

Wonga is not a pink logo though...

Check thier website - it's blue and white. It would fit perfectly on the CURRENT away shirt

It's awful!

Over all it looks fine. Not too bad,it's different and as the pinstripes are pink then why not have the sponsor in pink or it would ruin the deisgn.
Not saying I would buy it though.Just one for Jambos fans.

2011/2012 is the last season for umbro to supply kits, training wear. Just hope the home shirt looks fab. I seem to think this away shirt will be a seller, classy look, odd with the pink wonga logo. Suppose if they had more lighter colours they could use the blue wonga like on the Blackpool shirt

I like the top but thank god its the last year off umbro. The last two season have been the worse shirt hearts have had, the home shirt with the collar was murder and the light blue away shirt. Last year was like playing with to away shirts and for the celtic fan is it alright for celtic fans to attack the polis and stewards. Celtic shame off scotland and always will be.

Also 'haggis eating bastards', I love how all you English seem to think we get defensive over our national dish? Not all of us eat it as well. Typical English arrogance, you don't even have the best league in the world anymore. Piss off and stop trolling

When I first heard a month ago WONGO.com were going to be our sponsor I thought "Crap, it's going to be a maroon blackpool top" (No offence to blackpool but wongo's a shit logo) but Umbro really have tried to work with a bad logo and the result isn't half bad. I've preordered mine.

Hope to home is simple and trendy like this with the wongo logo's crapness reduced. If the home top was like this but maroon instead of blue and grey instead of pink I think I'd buy that too.

FSC - I think it would be a nice effort if you replaced these photos, seen as the player has been ditched for his recent 'behaviour'

I know it's just a site about footy fashion - but if we all care about the game - i would be a decent gesture.

I am sure the club have more photos, indeed on their own shop page they now have Zaliukas rather than this disgrace.
