hearts 11-12 umbro home football shirt

Hearts launched a new Umbro home football kit for next season, with the more traditional look expected to be a big hit with supporters.

Going back to the days of deep maroon, the new top features a round-neck collar. With white shorts and maroon socks, the new kit reflects the opinions of the majority of fans whose preference was a return to the days of the 1996 League Cup Final shirt which proved so popular with the Gorgie faithful.

I've said it before, but if any of you football shirt sponsors out there are listening, I will hate your company if you ruin my shirt!!!

This example is bad, but certainly not the worst

Can't be worse than this, at least Victor Chandler is willing to switch logo color in order to comply with the shirt.

I do want to see the same 10/11 shirt be worn again and again... and again. AAA shirt!

Very very esquisite. Looks amazing even with the Wonga sponcer, would properly look even more fantastic without it. But no its lovely kit with the sponcer or without it (:

Its a maroon jumper with white cuffs and collar. How is that possibly amazing? Yes it is simple and better than certain efforts they have had, but let us keep some sense of reason.

Some things that are simple can be still amazing, in a odd way...maybe for the simplicity of the design or the colourways, it just looks amazing..well in my opinion ANYWAY :) So yeah...

I am not arguing with you, merely saying I don't find it that outstanding for the reason I said. Yes it is the usual clean and neat etc, but it remains a plain t-shirt. Perhaps I would like it more if that sponsor was the previous Ukio Bankas, then it would have been white, complimenting the colour scheme and they may have even allowed it to be a small one on the reverse of the shirt so as not to take away from the design.

Looks like the same template umbro are using for NI Away, Livingstone and a few others I've seen.

Like the contrasted yellow on the double diamonds.

Great design, this is the shirt that the 'taylored by' range was made to make. Probably Hearts' best home shirt in a long long time.

Pity it's been blighted by the sponsor logo. For than alone I still think the Coventry home kit is the best new one so far.

How a Hearts kit SHOULD BE!! Utterly beautiful.

BUT IT'S ANOTHER EXCELLENT KIT RUINED BY A STUPID SPONSOR LOGO!!!

What's wrong with just putting the "wonga.com" logo in type only?! Or even better, just leaving out the logo altogether.

Amazes me that WONGA change thier logo to a shocking pink for the away kit.. but no chance of white only or a white \ maroon effort for the main shirt..?

This is the best shirt we have had in years, but that logo is horrific!

So disappointing. But wish away was a white version of this

They'd sell more tops without the sponsor on it, you'd think they club would realise that and do some without it.

I'd like to see a silver away kit like the 80's version.

If umbro are still doing Hearts next season I'd put money on it having a white v-neck like the 82 kit.

Why can sponsors not design a logo to match the teams colours so we don't have clashes like this, it hardly takes any effort to change your logos colour scheme. Nice kit ruined by a lazy sponsorship.

A classic shirt, one of the best so far and because of that it highlights the modern shirt requirement downside that is the sponsor.
Nothing teams can do about it. Hearts are the biggest team in Scotland outside the OF and they're going to be getting £millions for this. As for the company giving the dollar away they can say whatever colour they want their logo to be. In theory, you can't really blame either party.

No one should expect team A to not have lots of money because of a logo and Business A shouldn't expect to have to change it after giving £££'s away to use thir brand.

This is beautiful. The umbro range are clearly producing the nicest kits at the moment with that retro feel.

I am not a Hearts fan, I follow TQY, but I developed a soft spot for Hearts during the 1986 season when they blew the league title on the last day and have bought a couple of their kits in the past.

This really is one that I would consider getting. Beautiful shirt.

Umbro are really improving year on year, willing to do a template or an original design. Easily my favourite kit manufacturer at the moment.

If it wasn't for the sponsor I think I'd buy it. It would look great with the Strongbow logo from a decade ago!
