@ craig thompsons a dirty begger - try spelling his name correct

Funny how so many are quick to jump on the badwagon and believe everything that comes out the rear end of the media. Yes what he did was wrong, yes he knows what he did was wrong but believe me in the small town he is from there is alot worse going on than sending pictures! Not condoning anything he has done or arguing that he should maintain his status as a professional footballer, but its people like yourself who has NO first hand knowledge on the situation and yet voice their opinions which annoys me.

There was a reason that the HMFC initially kept him on. Do you really think if he is as bad as the papers are portraying him to be they would have kept him on?

He's been convicted and put on the censored Offenders Register for 5 years. Those ARE the facts.

I'm a Hearts fan through and through - but sorry mate your wrong.

He was guilty - and that reflects on the club let alone the families and girls involved. If Vlad had any regard for morals or the bigger causes - he would have sacked him. If the bloke himself had any sense he would have resigned.

The FACTS are it's best for Hearts, himself, the victims and the greater good of football - if he goes. Vladmir Romanov is great at making a smoke-screen of issues - don't play the same game.

I love HMFC - and we would be smelling of roses had we ousted him right away - there are no excuses. So worse things are going on in his town? TOUGH for him, he shouldn't have done it.

Don't forget this is Scottish Football. If Chris Wilder and P@ul H@rt did what Neil Lennon and that guy who used to be on Questoin of Sport did, then they would be fired.
So you don't really know the facts, do you

So what, he's from Bonnyrigg...just because there are worse things going on doesn't mean he should be exempt from guilt or prosecution. Because he doesn't shoot someone doesn't make what he did any less of a bad deed.

If it was your daughter that was being preyed by that sick and twisted hearts would you really be sticking up for him the way you are now? He should have been jailed not allowed to carry on playing for Hearts, i feel sorry for the real Jambos in this case not muppets like you. Away and hang you're head in shame!

Nice kit by the way

Nice kit. Simple and stylish, Black and green work well together. Don't like the shiny material used for the sponsor's logo though and having it on the back is a bit much.

Can't believe anyone is defending Thomson and that is what 'know the facts' and Hearts are doing. Would you be happy if you're young daughter was the mascot for the day knowing that a convicted paedo is looking her up and down in a vile way?

Regarding Hibs and Celtic having the best kits in the SPL, I take it you have yet to see Celtics yellow and black abomination?

A hibee telling me to hang my head in shame... thats rich.

Firstly at no point did I say I was sticking up for what he has done. If you read carefully I said I dont condone what he has done or the fact that he should still be playing football (at any level).
As for your thrown in jail comment, if thats your approach then the majority of the youth population in his home town should be there already. Some parents are unbelievably naiive to the going ons of their offspring. Trust me their not all little angels.

Perhaps I am just being lenient because I know him.

Surely the fact that HMFC are also putting their own reputation on the line to defend him surely conveys he's not some Fritzl beast, as many of you Sun readers are led to believe

Not that I want an argument - but he is a lucky boy to have had the chance to be a pro footballer - and to wear the Hearts colours. When you get those blessings you look after them. You have to be careful and whiter than white - it comes with the pay packet and fame. So some get away with things? And? If you get caught doing something THAT bad - you take the outcome. Fairness goes out the window when you do these things. I'm not saying bang him up, not saying people should harm him, I'm not saying he is the worse offender in the world - but context works both ways. Hope he reforms, gets his life on track and does some good for the world - but the price is, your football career ought to finished. Simple.

I wholly agree with this. He has made a mistake and can no longer be trusted in a position of such high responsibility. He is not some evil beast as has been portrayed, and the best thing for all observers to do is let him try rebuild his life outside of a footballing enviornment.

Well for starts, I know a lot of Scots and they (or their children) do not go round tartanland sh@gging their @rse off. Secondly, he should hang his head in shame and be sent to prison for what he did because it is totally wrong.

Puma and Adidas were once the same company. They were started by two brothers who fell out. The number of stripes is just something they did to distinguish themselves.

And surely someone skilled enough to manfacture "fake adidas" would be able to count?

, , , , , , , ,

Nice fresh black kit with classic green hibs trim! I love it!
King Warrior says : 8 out of 10!!!!!!!!

The best thing about this kit is that no offenders will be wearing it! Fair enough when we're 21 we all just wanted to get our hands down a bra and some stinky fingers! The thing is the girl has to be atleast 17! Going for little kiddies of 12 and 14 is just wrong! Craig Thompson you're a wrongen!!!!! Typical of that mob though!
