hull city 11-12 adidas home football shirt

Hull City AFC revealed the new 11/12 home kit made by Adidas. The club also announced Cash Converters as the new main Club Sponsor.

Manufactured by adidas and featuring the new main Club Sponsor, the home shirt for 2011/12 features bold and traditional black and amber tiger stripes on the front and back, partnered with black shorts and black socks.

The two-year deal, with an option of a third year, with the global company represents the biggest sponsorship deal in the club's history and the Cash Converters logo will feature on the playing shirts with a specially altered design to complement the famous black and amber colours.

Speaking about the ground-breaking sponsorship deal, Hull City Chief Executive Mark Maguire said: "It is the biggest sponsorship deal in the Club's history in terms of the commercial gain.

"There was a lot of competition for a deal like this and it amounts to one of the biggest partnerships in the Championship.

"Cash Converters saw us as a very proactive Club which is going forward and can help us develop their brand.

"They saw the huge potential here, and were impressed that we reach 250,000 kids each year through our community projects.

"They have also seen the investment into the club made by the Allams, the progress made on the pitch last season and our commitment to continually taking the Club forward.

"It is also important for the Club to be associated with an international brand and a growing company.

"Cash Converters are working in partnership with the ECB and the FA, so hopefully people will see this and be proud that we have beaten Premier League competition to strike a deal with a strong commercial partner that is a global and vibrant brand, whilst at the same time not compromising ourselves commercially."

Cash Converters Chief Executive, David Patrick, said: "We are very excited about the prospect of sponsoring the Club as it looks to regain its place in the top flight of English football. We looked at a number of clubs in The Championship and The Premier League, but the stadium, supporters, new ownership and manager made Hull City the most appealing option by far.

"Cash Converters plans to work closely with the Club and its supporters, to enhance the matchday experience and also offer fans the chance to win exclusive money-can't-buy prizes. We hope the new partnership will prove a great success for the brand, the Club and its excellent supporters, we're very excited about it."

The kit is expected to hit the shelves in early July.

This new Adidas template looks like a women's kit. It's a shame, because the colors and striping would look fantastic without the weird swooshy neckline.

Hmm, a lot of you've missed the point of advertising there. I would say the sponsors WANT their logo to be noticed, so they've either spruced it up on this image, or the shirt was blank and they added it later, either way, you've noticed it, so the advert has done its job.

Congratulations, by chatting about it, you just proved it works.

the striped fabric is white-based with black and yellow transfer,, while in the sleeves, the fabric is originally yellow , OR maybe its just the difference in the fabric itself made this color discrepancy...

your right Abdulraham

most teams get this when they have striped tops, newcastle for example, its so the tansfer of the shirt sponser black colour blends in perfectly with the black stripes.

Awful... sleeves are dreadfull, too shiny, amber version of the Stoke kit.

Stripes should go all the way to top of jersey. Why must adidas always put the 3 stripes everywhere and their logo cenre of the shirt?

Bring back Diadora or Umbro.

Hopefully the actual shirt will differ from this, as at the moment it looks piss poor. It looks like the logo was photoshopped onto the picture as I doubt the club would let something so poor go to the superstore.

Having those cunts as a sponsor isn't really help Hull shake off the negative views that most people have of it.
Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought Cash Converters was where smackheads went to trade stolen goods for cash.

Also I forgot to add that the actual design of the kit is another fucking shitty effort from Adidas. How come their kits are so hit and miss? You look at the new Real Madrid one it's fucking gorgeous. The cunts need to sort their fucking act out!

It shows how Adidas prioritise the bigger clubs, saying that all of the new Adidas kits are shite apart from the new Real Madrid home kit. Well at least we've not got Reebok making them for us, I feel much better after looking at the new Bolton kit.

haha funny enough adidas own reebok so theres you're answer, the kit manfactures have gone through so many designs by bringing new shirts out each season just cos they wana fleece the fans, that they are having to come up with more obscure ways to a kit look different

The combination of sublimated and dyed fabrics, that don't match properly, make the shirt look a bit cheap.
That type of overlapping collar can look really nice on a plain shirt, but it really throws things out of wack with the stripes.

Nice template, but I'd be interseted to see the back of the shirt to see if the stripes continue, but my guess is that they'd be broken up, hideously, or it'll have a plain block colour. I think Hull should bring back the plain amber shirts though and tell Adidas not to bother with stripes.

As a hull fan i think its the worst sponsor ever to have, i agree with everyone who says that the sponsor is to do with smackheads trading stuff in and a lot of that goes on in hull id rather them have allams as a sponsor at least that is less degrading , and also id like them to do summet different with the shirt i know hull are the black and amber army but its the same as the rest of the kits, anyone could of come up with that design, If the away shirt iv seen is what it seems then id rather buy that but the sponsor still gonna let it down oh well i might be able to trade it in at cash converters
