Leyton Orient 11-12 puma football shirts

Leyton Orient have unveiled their new kits for the 2011/12 season after extending their deal with technical suppliers PUMA.

For next season, the O's will introduce a brand new home and away strip, featuring the famous PUMA formstripe logo. The home kit features the same Chinese red colour scheme as used by the club in recent seasons, while the away shirt, which is royal blue with a yellow trim, is inspired by the designs of the 1970s yellow O's change kits and features a white tonal club crest for the first time.

PartyGaming continue their sponsorship of the club, with their PartyPoker.com and PartyCasino.com brands featuring on the shirts.

The two kits will be available for pre-order from June 1, and available in store from July 1.

As with last season's kits, they are offering the replica shirts at a great-value £30 (£25 in youth and ladies sizes) if you pre-order online before July 1. After that date, the prices increase to £40 and £30 respectively.

O's chief executive Matthew Porter said: "We are delighted to be continuing to work with PUMA as our technical kit supplier for the 2011/12 season.

"We hope that supporters like the new replica shirt design and we are confident that the £30 offer for pre orders will be popular."

Roger Harrison, PUMA UK Marketing Director commented: "We are looking forward to continue working with Leyton Orient FC having agreed a new Technical Kit partnership. This will continue to give PUMA great exposure throughout the football pyramid and with continued great kit and good service, we remain an excellent partner for the club."

Russell Thomas, Head of Sports Sponsorship at genesissports, added: "We are very pleased to have agreed to extend our existing Technical Kit & Trainingwear partnership with Leyton Orient FC. For the club to have wanted to continue working with genesissports after three years is a great compliment to our product and service, and we endeavour to provide the same quality product and exceptional service."

Orient commercial manager Chris Pope added: "We're looking forward to working with the team at genesissports and PUMA once again in the 2011/12 season as they continue to supply the club with top class technical, replica and training kit."

Decent? Yea it'd be decent if they outfitted about 10 clubs in it, but we are going to see EVERY puma club in either this or their ONE other template this season. Fu c king hell puma you've got MILLIONS of dollars to design a shirt and yet you come up with something like this! Even BURRDA comes out with more templates than you.

Im not sure if I like the stripes on them
Puma and Adidas were founded by two brothers so I think the stripes have been added to spark a family row.

Good stuff from Puma. These templates are clean, simple and effective.
Proves that weird patterns aren't needed for a good design.
Reebok,are you taking note!!!

I hate the fact that Puma only uses 2-3 templates per season (just like Adidas does), but that's the way it is and it won't change any time soon, so...

I actually like this template from Puma. The stripes are a bit unnecessary, but otherwise it's a classy kit. Looked good for Burnley, looks good for Leyton Orient, and it will probably look good on Spurs.

Ye umbro are shit, thank god the contract is up this season then and rumours floating around are adidas at the liberty, and my that shit country you mean england seeing as they have worn it since 1984 man i feel sorry for you suffering with it that long maybe because no one wants to be associated with a team who play themselves up just to let them selves down every 4 years, at least we know are team class at being shit

home kit is just ok but the away kit has the wrong colours

BTW: has anyone tried to order a shirt from orient from their online-shop outside UK? I tried 3-4 times last year but every time it just failed. They are not able to ship abroad - what a shame is this??

Add 2 tablespoons of cornflower, 1 egg white, a pinch of salt, 2 small badgers and a sprig of fennel and stir thoroughly until the mix becomes stiff. Place in a grease-proof tin in a pre-heated oven at gas mark 6 for 9 and a half hours and Hey Presto!......the new Leyton Orient away shirt!

Both hideous designs and more tripe from Puma. The thing about Football shirts is, they're supposed to show an identity of a team, but how are Puma helping this? They're not.

We had the same kit as Morecambe last season and have another identi-kit this season. What a joke.

The home kit looks like the 10/11 Man United shirt and the away one looks very Leeds United.

Arsenal up the road play in red shirts, Orient better off going back to their bygone all white kit with the red banding either side - early eighties I think. Orient's badge is has lovely as ever though.
