Mexico Adidas 2011/2012 Leaked

Here is what seems to be the 2011/2012 kit for the Mexican National Team produced by Adidas.

The style of the shirt is somewhat similar in design as the previously leaked Paraguay shirt and also the newly released Argentina away shirt, the collar style varies on each shirt but the overall cut of the shirt appears to be pretty exact.

With the release of the Argentinian shirt, you can expect to see the official launch of this kit pretty soon.

Keep in mind that it is only a leak, so it might not be the final product.

I really like the green white and gold combination. I feel like downplaying the red was a good move even though it's a national colour.

I'll have to see the shorts on a player until I can make a fair judgement on them, but the shirt looks very nice!
Adidas stuck to the traditional Mexican kit design here, yet gave it a little bit more class...

Very well done!

What was wrong with the old shirt? I guess it brings not enough money anymore.
To be up to date, you have to spend 80€ or $80 to have the current home shirt of your home county... It's a shame...

By the way the design is very nice and classy. Let's see how long they will keep it

Agreed. The fans are being ripped off by teams brining out new kits every year. Disgraceful. Plus the anticipation of a 2-3 year wait to see what the next design will be is fading away.

Couldn't agree more about the 2-3 year wait for a new international kit, can't help but think I saw this Mexico kit a few years ago

I think the previous design was fine, but I really like this one. Clean. Simple. Classy.
I really hope they go back to red socks, though. The Tricolores didn't look right with only green and white.

Això és tan simple. Jo esperava una mica millor, crec que Mèxic ha de canviar com ho va fer França. (This is so simple. I expected a little better, I think Mexico needs to change as did France.)

I think it's a small step back from the WC kits, but those are ridiculously cheap now anyway. I do want to see how the away looks, though.

there are some leaked pics already, showing the away kit, black once again but they replaced green with gold, quite similar to germany's black kit

It looks like a adidas t shirt. The famous three lines are now just being bastardized as a poor exuse for being lazy and just stamping on the clubs/associations crest and call it a kit. Adidas is being very unimaginative and their kits are among the most cookie cutter and frankly ugly of all the major brands. Thumb me down if you want and I know I will be but it's the truth adidas sucks. I'm not promoting any one brand since most brands have their faults but adidas is the most obvious one and I'm tired of seeing the same old three lines every year and people say it's the best kit. Frankly if this same kit was made by Nike people will loathe it because it's an American brand.

Mexico and adidas are releasing a new kit because the Gold Cup (CONCACAF's continental championship) is taking place this summer.
I'm not saying I agree with the release of a new kit every time there's a new championship, but the reason behind this particular release is this year's Gold Cup, in which the only adidas wearers will be Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago (poor Canada, we went with Umbro cheap uniforms...)

the green should be more dark, the red to look like blood and you got a jersey that would intimidate any soccer team. good luck Mexico in the Gold Cup, The USA is not using there B squad this time, which will make the final not be one sided like 2009.

seriously, can adidas be a little more creative and put the three stripes someplace else? Sublimated, raised, etc?

Now we are talking about a nice shirt. 100% better than the one they used in South Africa. Looks simpler but more elegant than the last one.

Good call Mexico!

Eh, it's OK but probably the worst Mexico shirt in recent memory. Also, pretty lame if most Adidas national team kits are going to have that gold-ish trim in one form or another.

Adidas sleeve stripes should go all the way down to the edge.... I'ts their trade marck for chirst sake!!!
Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

0 # 2011-03-05 23:59
They're not allowed to have the stripes go down the entire sleeve, because the different competitions require to have a space on the players' arms to apply the competition logo.

It's the same for World Cup, Champions League, Europa League, and all the major competitions in the world.

Such a massive improvement from the so called "world cup kits" thats for sure...would like to see a return of the 3/4 length sleeves though, that was just really cool and unique...i own that shirt :)

It is soooo plain it looks like the kit they give you at school you know the very cheap ones that dont even look good, i dont even know why they put gold on it it doesn't have anything to do with the "tricolor" i liked the world cup one 1000 times better
