I have no issue with Red Bull owning the team and being the sponsor, but you'd think you could at least take away one of the logos. Having two different Red Bull logos on the front is a bit redundant.

The ADIDAS store in SoHo has all the MLS teams, and other ADIDAS teams. I believe it's their flagship store.

yea true. Metrostars was a cheesy name but atleast it was a honorable identity and not a coporate brand. i cant stand going to their games and having RED BULL blare out the PA and having subliminal messages about how red bull is actually a good drink beamed into my head the whole game. plus i like how metrostars sounds there was no location name attatched to it (officially that is) it was just "Metrostars" and i liked it. i dont care what NJ fans say i bet you if they had a choice they would either take back the metrostars name or rebrand.

amen to that, im from Queens and even though they play in the slums of NJ i supported them until they whored out to Red Bulls. at first i thought "ok some energy drink money coming in and a promise of a new stadium thats great". but to take our name and turn our club into another marketing arm for red bulls and keep banging that energy drink in our heads every home game i couldnt take it. i quit supporting them and im starting it give up on mls cuz garber doesnt know how to run it. but eh just waiting till Cosmos come in and shows NJRB and MLS some real class.

But Bayer did not buy 5 teams. And did not make an advertisement factory of the sport. Anyway, there was not a disgusting globalized world like that in 1904 than now. The things were going some other way totally.

Well thats b/c the Jets and Giants have been established for many years now and the stadium is fairly close to NY geographically. RBA arena is in the heart of Jersey dude i mean they have the Newark skyline not NY. Reports say that at least 80% of the attendance is from Jersey. They should just give Jersey the team or at least name them NY/NJ like the old Metros and NY the Cosmos, its going to be pretty stupid having a NY derby when one team plays in Jersey. Agree with you on the whole Red Bull name thing it use to bother me but not anymore and like u said Leverkusen has the same scenerio and no on cares...isnt Wolfsburg with Volkswagon?

You miss the point. I agree with the football is a huge business... But a strange contact binds the fan to the club. The crest, the spirituality, mottos, culture what the team represents. This makes a team special. And yeah maybe the fans are treated extremely well and and you get the hot dog free during the match, but this an empty shit.

i know! red bull should have bedazzled the logo. dude that would be hot and fancy looking.

seriously though the logo is so complex and heavy that it's better just "ironed-on" gotta keep it simple.
