Why in the hell ARE they on a scooter? Makes no sense! Unless Norwich think they are playing in Serie A? And surely they should wear a helmet? Safety first kids.
Hopefully it'll start a trend of footballers in new kits on strange forms of transport: new Leeds kit modelled by midfielder windsurfing, a striker from QPR on a skateboard, that kind of thing...
Sunderland were 'swanning around in fancy Nike shirts' at that time because, following their two consecutive 7th place finishes, they signed a deal with Nike who were following a policy of signing deals with all of the up and coming sides in the country (and possibly Europe). Leeds signed a deal with Nike for the same reasons at approximately the same time.
What a stupid thing to say, the quality of shirt has no bearing on the quality of the team.
Yea, good one mate, you should think before you open your mouth.
Why is it we tend to see top teams getting top brands and lesser teams getting lesser brands (or having top brands but having them supplied by a third party or just get a really crap boring template design from Adidas)
I'm not a big Nike or Adidas whore by any means and am more than happy to look at some of the smaller brands when they do a good job, but more often than not (Carbini, Burda...) the results are okay but a bit cheap looking.
And that's not to say that the big clubs don't have some shockers as well (new Newcastle home kit for example) but they generally tend to get the nicer, better made stuff.
You should also think before you open your mouth as that isn't what i'm saying, you were suggesting sunderland shouldn't have got relegated because they had 'fancy nike shirts'. Is it really the most ridiculous thing you've seen for a long time?
So using that logic you presumably think its equally daft having your kit supplied by a smaller company and then playing well? Your understanding of football is rather lacking isn't it? It would be very tedious if it actually worked like that.
Precisely
Sunderland got Nike kits because they get big crowdsgoing to watch them. They got an average of 40000 this season! They club have not won anything for years but they have a huge fan base! Norwich don't have this and that's probably why they got errea. No disrespect to Norwich, I hope they do well but the difference between them and Sunderland is the size of the clubs, Sunderland are big and always do well with shirt sales, that's why Umbro have stuck with them for five years now.
norwich dont have a big fan base? thats why we sell out 27k virtually every week, weather its league one, championship or premiership next year, plus have a huge away following wherever we go?
Not compared to Sunderland they don't.
Going to have to agree with MUFC here like mate, as much as I hate to say it as I am a Newcastle fan, Sunderland are a big club! Look at there attendances, they are also one of the best away supporters in the country selling out full allocations. If Norwich had a 49000 stadium like Sunderland do would they get a lot more than 27000? I don't think they would. Not including Middlesbrough who's fans are shit who have hardly any fans at all, the big two, Sunderland and Newcastle have the best support in the country. The north east is football mad and I don't think people outside the north east truley know how big Sunderland and Newcastle really are! In terms of winning things, I agree, it's been a while but in terms of support we are both up there as one of the biggest! Imagine if we won things!!!
Totally agree with this! I'm a Everton fan and follow them every where. I have been to both Sunderland and Newcastle and the support and noise I experienced was electric!
if been to norwich and i can tell you they have a big fan base and if they had a 40 thousand seater staduim they would fill it every time so stop chating shit nobhead
Bollocks!!
they're the only league team for about 40 or 50 miles in any direction and recently they've be looking at expanding their stadium to at least 35,000 seats, they aren't as bigger club as sunderland granted, but they'd have no trouble selling out a 40,000 seater stadium in the prem
Plus there's the added bonus of looking unique among the rest of the premiership teams. That's always good for marketing.
It's worked so far ;)

Brilliant. Lovely kit too.
The sponsor logo does look quite big, but it seems to work well with the shirt and I cannot see the problem with the badge.
I have just watched the video and it is very good; nice to see some humour in a kit launch for a change, rather than players strutting around trying to look tough.

Regarding the kit, i bloody love it, nice clean simple lines, no stupid fussy little blobs or stripes, has a retro feel to it and the v-neck is cool as well, haven't had one of them in a while.
Anyways on the kit, it's nice, I woulda loved to have seen last season's XARA one in the Premiership, but I'm glad they've kept hold of this shade of yellow, it's usually a darker shade and this seems more bright and stands out more under the floodlights.
AVIVA logo and City crest is a bit big, but doesnt spoil a good looking kit...FIT FOR THE PREMIERSHIP
Because we can't possibly get there dipshit, it's impossible as we don't play in English divisions..
You probs don't even know what a Hun is so stop following what your father and friends sung on the terraces and get a life!
Newcastle's new kit is different, unique and very nic! Better than that excuse of a kit anyway.
Never been a fan of Norwich, their kit could be improved to start
Why do you think the Champions League require the first five rows to be free of spectators?... Because the UCL is basically a competition designed for the TV and to maximise sponsor recognition their advertising hoardings are much larger than standard Prem League boards and impede the views of spectators seated behind.
Aesthetics are for art students...Marketing drives profit..
The sponsor though.... HUGE!
hahahahahaha
Very good shirt sir
Far better than some overused template from Adidas, Nike or Puma!
The win was against big club Newcastle. Cost Fat Sam his job.
11 points. You do Derby a disservice.
Mopeds were invented in Norwich in 1962 by Bob Vespa. He also invented glue, cheese and Lego.
He died a penniless tramp in 1978 due to his addiction to strong cheddar.
He's a tramp. Moped-football still doesn't work. If I were Delia Smith, I'd forget the moped and just encorporate Norwich's new kit into one of my waitrose adverts
average paunchy fan... and grant holt.
No, Norwich.
