reading 11-12 puma home football shirt leaked

This seems to be the new Reading FC home shirt for the 2011/12 NPower Championship season from Puma.  The shirt features a v-neck collar, horizontal royal blue stripe throughout with contrasting white sleeves and blue tips.

Other details include a high build embroidered PUMA Cat logo on the chest along with an embroidered Reading team crest, to finish Waitrose main sponsor logo sits across the mid.

 Thanks to Luke

QPR, Sunderland, WBA they all have stripes also on the back. Stoke City (same pattern as Sunderland) has plain red, Reading plain blue last season, now white.
Give me a reason for this.

Err, no you didn't. And yours aren't even hoops. They don't go all the way around. There would be riots if QPR brought out a kit with horizontal stripes.

QPR founded in 1882
Enough said!

Except neither teams had hoops when they were founded. We first had hoops in 1892, you first had hoops in 1938. Unless you really believe those insanely thin things are hoops, in which case, you had them in 1872, and then not again for 66 years, so it's a pretty weak claim.

Good old Morton then, hoops since 1874.
Until recently, and we have the same hoopless strip as Reading now.
Why do our owners feck about with our traditions?
The fans want hoops, what is so difficult about having them?

Would it be stating the bloody obvious to suggest that RFC have a WHITE hoop where the shoulders are, and then use dark coloured lettering to spell the players' names out?

Or was that too complicated to grasp.

The shirt isn't that bad, even using the same Noddy Puma template that twenty other clubs have, but come on, the white back is just toilet.

Use red names and numbers. Problem solved. This kit would be classy with hoops all around. Your excuse doesn't explain the plain white sleeves, either.

One of the nicest kits so far. Much, much better than last year's Reading home shirt. It would look nice to have hoops on the back as well but on the other hand I like it if I can read the numbers when the game is going on.

If only they had used some contrast colours in the 2 stripes on the shoulder - one red and one black as per the badge?

The hoops should go all around the shirt, I like the white sleeves and the blue cuffs, they look great, but the white back looks awful with the hoops on the front. The championship numbers are pretty awful, and using them as an excuse for the breaking of the hoops is not a good one.

Still, at least from the front it looks nice
