Real Madrid 2011/12 Adidas Home Shirt Leaked

This is what appears to be the new Real Madrid shirt made by adidas for the 2011/12 La Liga season.

The shirt sees Madrid adopt gold as a secondary colour in the trim, and appears to use the same template the recently released Argentina away shirt with distinct box style trim under the sleeves although the collar does appear to differ being in a polo style rather than a round neck.

It looks more classy and world class than the 2010/11 jersey with the gold and the button up, fold-over collar

I agree, but something about it makes it look a little cheap. Looks like a jersey they would have worn about 5 years ago, which is not considered to be retro.

You may be aware, the, that gold does NOT represent royalty, and particularly so in Spain where, despite it appearing as part of the Second Spanish Republic tricolore, purple is the colour most associated with royalty. Nor does gold appear, other than outline, in the coat of arms of the Royal House.

I love it purely because it cheapens the Vikingos and makes them look the wannabes that they are. Good luck in winning nothing with yet another new manager, stupid, gangsta merengues

I'd have to say this is a fake - it's a combination of Arsenal/Porto/Hertha/etc. Nike collar with Adidas details as well. Just a hodgepodge, but it doesn't look too bad. I agree though - whoever created it should've used purple/dark blue rather than gold.

The only positive I have to say about this is that it reminds of the kit worn by what I like to call the "dream team" era in 2002-2006. Other than that it's typical adidas dull rubbish. The minute real Madrid switches to Nike I'll jizz myself. plus this looks like a commerative shirt, they haven't won anything yet

When would that have been? as a Raúl fan I know that he had a new shirt every year! So that's been a while.
Apart from that: like the design of that shirt, love the collar, the colour: not so much. Certainly better than the one shown on Marca - that one is horrible!

The current 10/11 shirt loooks very cheap with their 3-d Real madrid patch.

This one looks like they brought up back the embroidered patch with a elegant touch to the kit.

A+ for this kit!

not. sure. if. fake....
It's the same template as Mexico home, Argentina away, Paraguay home, and Toronto home, but with a different collar than the one all those share.
Also, that shiny gold foil hasn't been seen anywhere before, and there is a more toned-down gold on the Mexico and Argentina kits, so that's something to consider...
Either way, I wont pass judgement on whether I like it until I see it on a human.

looks like I will have to wait for another year to buy a decent Real Madrid jersey, they haven't had a good kit in years!!
This is not 1990, I'm starting to think Adidas hates the Galacticos.

I still the prefer the all-white with no trimmings. Apparently RM simply cant decide their secaonday colours for the adidas stripes... black, blue, purple, grey... and now gold... seriously did they get this from Missy Elliot? Bling-bling? That collar is so retro-polo-ish plain ugly....

not for me i think ac milans new range is a lot classier than this release
the gold makes it look a touch tacky and the pointless gold piping round the armpit area is odd

Collars kill every soccer kit. What is a collar (something associated with dressing up) doing on a shirt you wear with athletic shorts?!?! I've never got it!!
