Santa Fe 2011 Away umbro Shirt

These are the new 2011 home and away kits for one of Columbia’s top teams, Club Santa Fe. Based in Bogota, the club were the first ever winners of the Columbian league, and have been champions six times in total.

These new kits will be worn by Santa Fe throughout 2011. The home shirt, in white with red sleeves, is crafted from a cotton and polyester blend, offering comfort, strength and breathability. Both the home and the away, which has the colours reversed, are ergomically shaped to aid the movement of the wearer, and feature the club’s iconic crest embroidered on the chest alongside the Umbro logo.

When this team was created on the 30s the owners went to London and were inspired by the Arsenal shirt. Santa Fe always play with that kind of desing.

Love what they did with the Away Jersey - such a radical design departure from the home kit!!!!

Come on Umbro enough with the "tailoring"

heii you,Banned in DC: The Santa Fe colors were taken from the arsenal shirt by decision of a club director in 1941 who was an arsenal fan!

+1 if you wish your club would switch to Umbro (or if they already are Umbro and you like it).

I'll be honest and say that I immediately thought of the the England away kit when I saw this, but with white sleeves. Either way, Umbro is on a roll right now.

That would make an awesome looking Arsenal jersey. Of course add in the the white crew collar and, well, you would have, erm....

....the same shirt as this year's :-s

V v nice kits. Umbro are doing a great job lately
With the simplicity of their designs, collars and
choice of materials. Less is often more...

so if this is a rip off of Arsenal, than is Newcastle ripping Juventus off? stoke city ripping sunderland off? chivas /chivas usa ripping those two off? NO. But maybe this is. All I am saying is that there will be teams with similar kits or exact kits...THAT's WHY THERE ARE AWAY KITS IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Actually Juventus would be ripping Notts County off, and Atletico Madrid are ripping Southampton or Sunderland off (depending on who you believe).

Most teams which are over 50 years old got their ideas for shirt colours from English sides, who in turn chose their colours based on whatever material they could get at the time.

As for this template, Umbro are really pushing their luck launching the England 2009 away kit style as a NEW design for a team in 2011.

its not the England 09 away kit style at all, it looks the same sure,
but i don't believe its the same

tops are redesigned and tweeked year on year. making improvements every time, the England 09 kit is nearly two years old now

The team was founded on 28 February 1941 in Bogotá, and its founders loved Arsenal as much as their fans in Colombia.

While I've certainly been a fan of Nike's work for us lately, if they hadn't, I would have loved to see Arsenal sporting that crisp, clean looking shirt. It's very nice.

Arsenal Jerseys As one might have expected, it is a return to the classy strips of the 1970′s, with a simple red and white shirt, white shorts and red socks. The special point of the jersey is the club crest and the 15 laurel leaves to the left part of the crest, reflecting the 15 men who were instrumental in founding the club.Arsenal Soccer Jerseys
