Sheffield Wednesday 11-12 puma kit vote

Sheffield Wednesday have teamed up with kit manufacturers PUMA to once again offer fans the online opportunity to pick the team's next away strip. The last such vote was a huge success as Wednesdayites logged on in their thousands to choose the current season's black away kit.

The 2011/12 season will be met with a brand new away strip for the Owls and fans can now opt for their favourite of the three designs below. The new style has been made with a retro feel to it and offers a brighter selection as a contrast to the current dark strip.

The choices are displayed below.

Thanks to James

So, Wednesday fans, which kit do you want? The vile one, the vile one or the vile one?

I think it would say the vile one, the really vile one, and the "not as vile as the others" one, but yeah, you're spot on.

Not a big fan of any of the colors.. But if I had to choose, I'd go for the pink (option 2). Might as well stick out and be as different as possible with such a standard template. They could bring down the intensity of the color just a notch though, lol. But I am a big 80's fan..

They are that loud, Owls fans would call the police and ask them to turn them down.

Although I do remember Wednesday wearing an orange away kit once upon a time....

Yes, it was their 1996/97 (oddly enough) puma away kit (puma clearly love hating on Wednesday)

They should have all of them and mix the shorts and socks up. Maybe one match orange shirts, pink sorts and green socks etc.

Puma wont have designed these kits as for smaller teams kit manufactors simply let them pick bigger team kits and select from a colour library off 20 or so colourways which are available to any team from Sunday league!

As kit votes go it's a bit dissapointing. There is normally at least a choice of designs, rather than the same, very plain, design in three different plain colours.
Therefore, does it really matter?

If you are reading this Mr Mandaric, please don`t let wednesday choose any of these kits. We had a good and deserved chuckle at Uniteds new third kit which looks like bile in kit form, but these abominations are just as bad if not worse! Puma can do much better than this.

Why not keep the current away kit for at least one more season? There is a recession on when all is said and done.

Truely shocking from Puma, the only remotely passable is the grey option but still it's a extremely plain design.
