Sunderland have unveiled the brand new away kit for the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League season, which will be available here.
The kit features a vibrant shirt in vivid blue with a bold white chest band, highlighting the modern, clean lines synonymous with Umbro's tailored range.
This year's shirt features a round-neck and white shorts, while socks trimmed with the same vivid blue colour complete the new change strip, which will go on sale on July 1.
Direct from the Tailored by Umbro collection, the kit carries the name of the club's main sponsors, tombola.*
Defender's Titus Bramble, Phil Bardsley and Michael Turner modelled the new kit in a recent photoshoot.
Bardsley, Sunderland's player of the season, said: "I'm very impressed with the new kit, it's bright, bold and really stands out, which is just what you need on the pitch.
"It's comfortable and stylish and I think it will be very popular with our fans."
Lesley Callaghan, SAFC's marketing and commercial director, added: "The away shirt is always a popular choice with supporters for their summer holidays so we are delighted that our new change strip will launch in early July.
"As always we would urge supporters wherever possible to consider buying their shirts from official club stores as by doing so they will benefit the club and the team directly."
*In compliance with gambling legislation, baby, infant and junior-sized shirts will not carry the tombola logo.

Long sleeved version methinks.
BTW did Titus get a lift or the bus to the photo shoot?
I'm not so sure, would be too similar to one of the aways from just a few years ago (08-09 I think?). Red with a white or blue band I could see happening though.

it would not be un-umbro like to peddle out similar kits, red and blue stripes across shoulders and chest on a white shirt would be ok ! That or blue stripe on an orange shirt
But still, good kit
Agreed. After getting humped again by Barca I think we should drop the white away kit for a while, not much luck with it recently. Wish Nike would come up with something a bit 'out there' for United, along the lines of Corinthians new away shirt would be nice but I think many people would not like that.
Arsenal - cesc, theo, jack
chelsea - lampard, cech
liverpool - stevie g, pepe, jamie c
and then there's...
sunderland - titus bramble, phil b, some other numpty.
why do you get these plebs to model their kit?
that's the most cloddish marketing move in the history of football. fact
Rooney- Plays away from his family and is fat
Rio- Ugly and has a lame lip
Hernandez- Is a dwarf
Lapard- puff
chec- looks like a deer
Gerrard- scouser
Reina- Bald
Carragher- 50 years old
So your marketing technique is a mere 20% success rate according to me
Blue is similar to Barcelona's of 2008/09-ish.
And umbro have been churning out decent stuff for a while now.
oh yes i remember Houllier giving you a good rogering in the special blue tulip yard. many of the guests were shocked, but i find it quite entertaining to see you bent over, pants down grabbing your ankles. fun times indeed.
No it was Athletic Bilbao.
Irelands is black with a green bar.
It grows on you, isn't it?
spurs suck donkey meat
I suggest you do a bit more research on what teams you support. Sound like an American...and Sunderland wear RED and white you nugget.
Doh, You leave my little Robson alone, d`hear?. He dont know nothing about your English `soccer`. Sunderland wear Red and White? Next youll be telling me they used to play at Roker Park and were the losing FA Cup finalists in 1992. You crazy English!
he's being sarcastic butt-nugget, but with a name like "Doh"
I shouldn't be surprised
***** stars
Would the cheesiest colour ever not be yellow you complete moron!!
Shame the white band looks awful on across the body, especially when aplayer sticks his arms up to celebrate?
then again, might not notice it, if its sunderland and its being worn in their away jerseys :)
My birthday is the same day as Titus Brambles
