Swansea City's new 11/12 Adidas home kit is ready for a dream Premier League debut.
Unveiled and unleashed in the Liberty Stadium club shop at 9am today, the Swans will look 'all white' in the top flight next season with this latest creation from leading kit manufacturer adidas.
Sporting the famous adidas stripes for the first time since John Toshack led the Swans to promotion to the old First Division back in 1981, Garry Monk and co will kick off the Premier League season in style.
And Swans fans will be able to strut their stuff following Wales' Premier League club as well by sporting the new shirt or merchandise from the exciting new range of leisurewear now on offer in a revamped club shop.
Home shirts are priced at £40 for adults and £30 for kids; shorts at £18 for adults and £15 for kids; plus socks for £8 for adults and £6 for kids.
The new kit and trainingwear will feature adidas ClimaCool and ClimaLite technologies offering heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones.
Swansea City's vice-chairman, Leigh Dineen, said: "We are delighted to team up with adidas at such an exciting time in the club's history.
"adidas are renowned for the design and quality of their sportswear and, after the plaudits we've received this season for our style of football, we believe it's the perfect match.
"It's ironic that the season we return to the top flight we are back with adidas for the first time since the club made their dramatic rise from the old Fourth Division to the top of the First.
"Up until now that has been our most successful period and I'm sure our supporters will be absolutely delighted with the news that we have reunited with adidas.
"They are a global brand leader with a reputation for quality - and that's where we want to be as a club for many years to come.''
Steve Holland, Commercial Club Partnerships Manager at adidas, said: 'After a monumental week for the club, we are delighted to announce the partnership and welcome Swansea to the Premier League.
"We share a great history and look forward to some very exciting times for the club, the fans and adidas with some compelling 'off pitch' marketing plans to be announced over the launch period and into the season.''
Thanks to Swanseafan1988 and Bobby

Your going up and straight back down

..It's a nice kit.
People have this massive problem with template kits, we need to realise that Adidas will only give unique kits to Bayern, AC Milan, Liverpool Chelseam Lyon etc, a few other bigger teams..
I'd honestly rather Chelsea went back to Umbro, the tailored kits are beautiful and the material Adidas use is woeful.
It pulls as soon as you put it on, and it makes you sweat easily, yet my England shirts have a cotton feel to them, and it's a nice wear..
But in terms of style, this is nice, just dislike Adidas..
I hear you as far as material. There were a couple Adidas kits I was going to get ths year (Germany home, AC Milan home) but I deciced against buying them because the material felt so cheap. Don't know how the authentic kits are but the replica ones have a very cheap feel and even look to them. Nike and Umbro kits are a different story. Much nicer feeling and looking.
Hopefully this years Adidas kits will be made better because they definitely have some nice looking kits. Just don't like the material they use.
Adidas havent been the same since about 2006 in terms of style, the last Chelsea shirt I bought that didnt pull was the 06/08 one, I also have a 05 Madrid shirt and Madrid's shirt from 2 seasons ago with RONALDO 9 on the back, 05 had a fantastic feel, and no pulling to it, whereas the 09 one was just like the Chelsea ones, pulled easy.
i feel exactly the same about nike, bring back umbro!!!!
Now for the away - navy & sky?
It's a nice kit and nice to know we'll actually be playing in ours sooner than they will ... so it'll look like they've copied us!
A- shirt.
Good luck in this year's EPL.
it looks like a derby kit from about 5 years ago.
swansea deserve something more timeless and collectible to mark their return to the top flight.
lol, wonder if that is an Omen?
Yeah but swansea will !!!
Err they haven't, as the white/black colourway isn't in the teamwear Tiro 11 design. Same reason last year that adidas removed the red/white stripe shirt from the teamwear range to stop Stoke fans buy an unbadged shirt at half the price.
Which makes it worse. "You could have had this shirt for half the price and without the sponsors logos, but we've decided not to sell that one anymore."
Aye, I remember you battering us at the Liberty in the spring.
You must be joking, if that aint a template kit i don't know what is!
I hate adidas, people only make out shirts like this are nice because its thier club or fans of other teams have adidas has thier kit maker.
Just another example of brand global domination.
the whole thing works will
nice kit
'Nahh, just chuck em that template over there.'
yeah thats why we 're in the premier league daft twat

The away strip - I'd heard a rumour about orange with a white yoke or horizontal stripe, as Swans wore orange trim and an orange away strip for most of the 60's. More fitting might be a navy and sky blue combination, as worn at Preston in 1981. Even though Cardiff wear blue, we've never had a problem with wearing blue away strips.
Sincerely I prefer English teams in English leagues and Welsh teams in Welsh leagues
In addition, playing for their country both Cardiff & Swansea city would win the league, adding cup to their palmares.
At least some years ago, they played Welsh cup.
Didn't the Welsh teams elect to play in England but forego a European place (if they qualified through league position or cup win) as they are not English so wouldn't qualify for a UEFA competition place. And not being in Wales they cannot play in any Welsh cup tournaments.
I may have worded this wrong or in fact be wrong...but I am Slovenian!
What do you even mean, your point makes no sense. For a start I was not slagging off the Welsh teams, I was stating facts I have heard and believe to be true. The fact that they belonged to a different FA (Welsh) and changed overn (to English) years ago has NOTHING to do with foreign owners. Seriously, have a think before writing anything.
What do foreign players - who are in probably every professional league in the world - have to do with foreign owners, foreign players who were at clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea etc before they got taken over by foreign owners have no bearing on anything.
I am not the idiot.
Haven't seen the Derby kit yet... mind, they're not in our division so I haven't paid as much attention. They are in yours though.
Probably jumped on the Man City bandwaggon after jumping on the Chelsea one...fairweather fans change their teams each season.
I chose my team when I was 7 and have stuck with them ever since. I do take interest in the major European leagues but have no preference, I am a football fan and I'd certainly watch any game on tv here, Barcelona x Real, United x Liverpool to games like Forest x Watford, lower leagues in Italy, Germany etc. There are too many people who follow clubs with huge budgets and always chasing trophies. i do not like these type.
nt bad kit btw quiet smart.
Its QUITE smart you numpty.
Haha a Sais who can't spell, and its his own language. Hahahaha!
I wish Leeds would change to adidas but another season of macron we have, well, when they finally manage to release the kit for next season that is.
team with shxtty kits stay dont they?
