Well, with the red collar they had this season, Chelsea could have worn a red third kit, but i think it would have been too similar to Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd

I think the Swindon kits of the last few seasons sum up all that is bad about clubs just picking a kit from a catalogue. Surely it would be better to go with a smaller manufacturer who will make kits with a bit of individuality. Bring back Loki! Bring back Diamond Leisure!

I like it actually, Town's last 2 kits have been similar and alot of white has been represented. And they'd also shown off boring over used templates.

I havent seen this used in England (Maybe I have but doesnt look familiar) and it's a much more cleaner shirt to go out of the 3 year deal on.

A lot of teams change their shorts colours during history. Juventus alternates white and black shorts, Roma was all red, now red-white-black from top to bottom, Birmingham had blue shorts, Barcelona with red or blue, etc.

Arguably the finest in the football league.

Very basic. Shame ST don't have a customised kits like Chelsea despite the flash sponsors. Used to love the green trim but that has been ditched along with the S logo, which I liked. Poor sods had a mank season too..

They've got SAMSUNG because there is a SAMSUNG factory in Swine-town ... And maybe they've got 'FIFA 12' as that's what most of the town consider to be high culture?

All together now (to the tune of 'Glory glory Man United' - or whatever team):

"BORING BORING STANDARD TEMPLATE!!!
IT IS RED BUT STILL A TEMPLATE,
NICE, BUT STILL BORING TEMPLATE,
AND WE'LL SEE IT ROUND THE LEAGUES LEAGUES LEAGUES!!!"

You're right 'Chris doesn't know' ... I got confused, it's actually a Motorola factory they have there. SAMSUNG have actually partnered up with Pig-Town to do a 'footballs next big talent' competition/scheme ...

But however I was referring to people of Swindon thinking FIFA being high culture ... But it's ok, I know not everyone gets sarcasm ... Douchebag.

Some odd comments on here. Fair play to Swindon, not a big club by any means but a big club for L2 surely?
Of course its a template kit, as Swindon are hardly Man U, Liverpool etc they can't command a unique kit so like a lot of clubs they are just being offered something by their kit suppliers.
I remember on some forums Swindon fans saying they have a good board of directors and they are financially sound. Can't say i know a lot about them to be fair but any club that can get sponsors like Samsung, EA Sports and FourFourTwo must be well run, especially at League 2 level where most clubs will be sponsored by a variety of estate agents, the local builders merchants or takeaway shop.
Not sure what everyones opinions are on Swindon Town but looks like a well run club, I would imagine they would bounce back from L2 with ease.

Most Swindon fans are happy with this as it's going back to just plain red without the shite squiggles/slashes that have appeared over the last 2 seasons.

Regarding sponsors, don't forget we had 442 on the home shirt, FIFA 11 on the away and Samsung on the third strip, so you all sj=houldn't be surprised.
