Tottenham Hotspur 2011/12 Puma Home Shirt Leaked

This is apparently the new Tottenham Hotspur shirt for the 2011/12 English Premier League season manufactured by Puma.

The shirt is a very plain, all-white affair with the only colour coming from the navy blue Puma logos on the sleeves and Spurs crest.

The shirt has a fold-over collar, a small design feature here is on the front of the neck area where the the round style turns into a spike.

I think it's brilliant. No complexity, just pure white with logos and sponsor. It's beautiful, for once Puma did a great job!

Quite agree. It's classically simple and simply classy...

Hopefully the away shirt will be an exact reverse of the home kit (Navy shirt/White shorts) and we'll be sorted...
just hope Modric hangs around to wear it!!

say what? ANYONE can make such a shirt. A plain shirt with club logo on the left, designers logo on the right and on the sleeves. There, you're done. This isn't a football shirt; this is a T-shirt with 4 logo's printed on it.

True.....Puma ran out of ideas again..........just like umbro when they were designing the England kit two years or so again. They made it seem like they put so much effort into it but when it came out......a polo red shirt......bullshit........So I agree with you..

You really ARE an arse, aren't you? Every kit you comment on shows that you are lacking in wit, delivery and any sense of style or occasion.

I am a Brentford fan, and I really like this Spurs kit.

No colour highlights, sublimation or even texture changes just two more Puma logos than are needed and a massive pile of no imagination whatsoever.

If Puma wanted to go as old school as possible, they should have ditched their logo altogether, instead of putting on the chest and sleeves.

The publicity they could have received for not plastering the logo all over, for the sake of the style of the shirt would have outweighed not having it on there.

But they don't have the balls to do it.

Beautiful kit, and I'm saying this about a Spurs kit as well, which means something haha. Its almost as if you need a sponsor for this kit though, which will happen no doubt, so no worries there. Also, another low point is that even though its dead nice, were gonna have to spend 40+ pounds for a generic Puma polo with the Spurs badge on it.

Think it's ok without being brilliant. I like plain shirts, but I think the collar looks a little tacky, although I guess that could change when I see it first hand.

Not really ever been a fan of Puma kits, simply because I don't get why they feel the need to have 3 of their logo's on the shirt.

I think all kits are like that now mate. I went from almost an XXL to a L back in about 2007 and it has been that way since. Haven't lost any weight either! Manufacturers just accept now that the general public is getting fatter every year.

I find it funny that puma had a contest where you could try and guess the next kit design. They gave you a blank template of an outlined shirt to draw on. I guess if you sent it back to them without putting anything on it you would have won. I wonder if they gave a prize for that one. Those tricksters!

6 or 7 years and only 2 kits worthy of mention from Puma. The brown euro kit which looked nice but they didn't manufacture properly so the badges kept falling off and the "king" black 3rd kit from 2008 which was brilliant. Other than that rubbish. Puma, don't let the door hit your ar*e on the way out.
This is ok. Fans would have moaned anyway if this shirt had colour in it or was in the wrong place. Looking forward to seeing the away and third kits.
Thanks god its the final season though.

The perfect shirt for most ppl on this site...

It's a plain polo shirt - the kind children are forced to wear in grade school - with a logo on it. Completely lame. Strip it of the collar and it's just a plain white t-shirt with a logo on it.

Awful. It's the default jersey on ProEvo.

It would be great if they kept it just as is, no sponsor, plain blue shorts and plain white socks like the kits of my childhood. So they could have a truly classic retro style before they go to UnderArmour, as they have tended to overdo it with their rugby and football efforts thus far.

Collars deserve buttons. No argument.

No, it didn't take a lot of effort to design. No white shirt ever does. That doesn't mean it can't be a beautiful kit. However, this kit isn't going to be worth the asking price until it goes 70% on sale. Then it will be a nice moisture-wicking, polyester shirt you can use for Sunday kick arounds with your friends. Puma makes awful football kits and the three Puma logos NEVER help their cause.

Now, I know Umbro isn't without it's design flaws but there is a subtle difference from, say, an all white 9/10 England affair and this Puma crap. Get beyond the fact that it's a white shirt (OMG!) and think about how it's constructed. the Umbro shirt in question had a great fit. The vented area under the arm was a nice touch, the material was soft and breathable, and the seams sat well during movement (I play in my Lennon one often). My Rafa VDV Puma shirt from last year fits like a potato sack. There is pointless stitching all over it and someone please tell me what's the flipping point of the little "KING" badge on the midsection? Not to mention it was the same template used by a handful of two bit club teams around the world. Doesn't seem fitting for a Champions League team (speaking of course of last season, not the one ahead).

The problem here starts and ends with the fact that this shirt is by Puma. And as an American, I can tell all you Spurs fans around the world to not be excited about UA in 2012/13. They don't belong in football with their current design philosophy and if they churn out even a halfway decent Spurs shirt that doesn't look like it's been sent through the extreme, "let's-make-our-players-look-like-superheroes", Photoshop regime 20 times, then I'll be quite surprised.

*steps off soapbox*
