chelsea 12/13 adidas away football shirt

Chelsea Football Club and adidas launched the new Chelsea away kit for the 2012/13 season, which is available here.

The strip is a modern design with a classic twist, featuring a light aqua diagonal flash across the main white body, and the first ever fading three stripe pattern on both sleeves.

Buy Football t-shirts at footytees.com - New shirts every week

A navy v-neck collar and trim ensures that all the various colours synonymous with their success in recent years are well represented, while the shirt also features the adidas TechFit technology, which has been proven to enhance performance.

Modelled on the kit worn by Fernando Torres, Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard this season, the new men's Chelsea Away Shirt 12/13 includes ClimaCool performance fabric - designed to remove sweat and help you perform at your peak!

    -Ribbed v-neck
-Light Aqua piping and diagonal stripe design
-ClimaCool fabric keeps players cool and dry
-Faded adidas 3 Stripes to shoulders
    -adidas logo to right chest
    -Chelsea crest to left chest
    -Sponsor logo to centre chest
    -Colour: White / Light Aqua
    -Fabric: 100% Polyester

The kit, which will be available to buy here, will be worn for the first time during their pre-season tour of the USA when we face the MLS Allstars on 25 July in Philadelphia.

It looks like a Marseille kit but is simple easy but a nice shirt.

Didn't they play with a star on their chest?

can see a united adidas shirt easily, simple like the Chelsea home, red shirt, black v neck, black sleeve hems and 3 white stripes. much better than the atrocity of this seasons home. can't see the nike partnership ending whilst we have US 'owners' though.

United did have adidas kits from around 1980-92, some great some not so. But yes, Nike do seem to have lost the plot whereas classic adidas designs do carry on.

Hardly any away kits are made with history in mind, Chelsea's history is blue kits, which their home kit represents. So which other London club do you support?

Hey numbnuts before you speak you should be a little research. Chelsea originally wore a light shade of blue, from 1905-1912. They wore, at that time, light blue tops, white shorts, and darker blue socks.

An away kit does not need history, the beauty of an away kit is that you can do whatever you want with it. You apply history on a home kit which they did very well this time. (although is was pretty boring)

Typical. A clever ploy by Chelsea to rob more money from fans. It seems every year, Chelsea have three new shirts and look to exploit fans for around £130 a year.

Why white? Because it clashes with clubs, thats why. Everton, Man City, West Brom, Wigan, QPR and Reading will all have shirts that will clash with Chelsea's blue shirt AND their away shirt.

Are they not going to put the Champions league gold crest thing on their shirt like Barca and Man Utd had? also could of sworn I saw a star on the new kit one they won the CL, just above the crest. Looked mint to be honest, but seems they have opted not to add it I guess?
