Mali 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Airness Home Football Shirt

Mali 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Airness Home Football Shirt

This is the new Mali 2013 Home football shirt made by Airness which will be used during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations will be the 29th Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It was scheduled to be hosted by Libya, however a decision by CAF to move the competition to South Africa means Libya will not host.

Mali will play in group B against Ghana, DR Congo and Niger.

Why Mali did pass from green to yellow, and yellow to white?

I suppose it is an away kit. Home one should be green or yellow.

This shirt is awesome , just goes to show that kits that aren't produced by Nike or one of the other big companies can be good too.

It looks ok really. The diagonal stripes across the front remind me of what Adidas did for Spain and Germany during Euro 2012.

The striping reminds me of Fruit Stripe gum http://www.whydidyouwearthat.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/fruite-stripe-gum1.jpg

I do like the dither fade on the tricolor sash & that collar though

It's Africa. Bold, bright and colorful is the way to go there. And this shirt does it very well indeed.

if somebody would have described this one to me, i'd probably have said 'this could never work' ... but seeing it now, i think this is really neat and i can't even say why. great kit.

Good shirt ! And I agree that it is good to see non Puma shirts for once being worn by an African team.

Airness sizing is a problem tho'...they were, and I assume still are, very tight fitting. Probably need an XL at least for a normal size L in Mike, Adidas, Puma etc
