Agreed. Makes the shorts and shirt look like they come from a different template.

Actually don't mind the shirt but the shorts need the three stripes to be white.

Awful combination of white adidas stripes on the shirt and yellow stripes on the shorts... It seriously looks like a goalkeeper kit! Maybe it's me, but i don't understand why people should buy one of these...

I thought of a goalie kit when I saw this

Such a nice idea for an away kit but nevertheless a failure

Its nice but i have seen that template quite a few times now by adidas for example hull and bristol city have both got this design nice colour combination but adidas really need to come up with better ideas

To be honest, it looks shit. The colours don't really go well, with that gold and the black and white, and the sponsor is WAY too big

I hate it. It'll be the first Dons top I've not bought since the Puma kits in the late 90s. On the plus side, it saves me £45

Ach it's OK but it's NOT gold as the club claimed would be, would it have been that hard to get gold in the same template rather than that scary yellow?

If they wanted to go back to tradition and have a black and gold kit then could they not have used Stoke's template, or West Broms???

Sponsor on the bottom two photos is photoshopped on as they were taken last season before sponsorship renewal was announced, hence why they look ridiculously big. The photo at the top shows the sponsor printed on at normal size.

I am not a fan of the vertical half-one color / half another color shirt. One positive is the yellow/black, which is a good combination. There is far too much yellow for me, however.

I'm confused why Aberdeen have chosen black and gold for their away strip. I understand that it was their original home colours but it's not an anniversary shirt so why the change. Stick to classic white for way kits.

Isn't that the point of "a template"?

Designing new 3 shirts for every club every season is unsustainable. Besides, between colours, sponsors and club badges, each club mentioned above has a distinct kit.

Ha, ha, ha. Touched a wee nerve did I? Just to educate you I am not the ex-Prime Minister (who I also despised) but just a fan enjoying a laugh at yet another awful kit. Designers seem to be always looking for the 'diffferent' yet discover the ugly instead. Anyway, thanks for the best wishes, glad it got your back up, but I don't hate you in return, I just sympathise with your gingerness. Enjoy the season.

Why are the two stars above the badge in white? You can barely see them.

I'd have thought that Aberdeen would have wanted to highlight their previous successes by having black stars so they can be seen from a distance.

If you are that free, why do so many of you choose to work in the beautiful south? Oh, I get it, it is because that is where the work is, and you find your grey housing estates a bit boring.

Scottish kits were looking good this year... but this one is rank rotten

Celtic - ok home, black socks kill it though. Quite good away, but the idea of having to turn the sleeves up to show some other colour/design is just silly Nike!
Rangers - nice classic home, sure to be a best seller, not seen the away yet.
Hearts - fairly over done template but both home & aways are ok, white away looks so much better than Aberdeens rubbish one.
Hibs - Best of the bunch so far. Classic home in a retro colour. Pics of the captain in the long sleeve top is what a football kit should look like. Hibs have manage to talk puma into using a different design to their usual crap templates ie Reading and Sheff Wed, so well done Hibs.
Aberdeen - ok home, horrible away. Just a poor poor effort.
Dundee United - Quite like their home. Boring template but their colous make it work and i think it looks cool.

Would be alot better if the socks were reversed with the colours. Yellow/Gold just doesn't work. But top is a grower.
Do prefer last season's simple white and red.
