Barcelona's new home and away kits fuse together club tradition with a modern and creative expression to give the team an exciting new look for the 2012 – 13 season. Combining performance innovation with low environmental impact each kit (shirt and shorts) is made using up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles, and available here.
Barcelona’s new home kit sees the famous blue and red stripes fused together to give the shirt a bold new look.
For years the club has taken the best of its homegrown talent (the cantera) and fused those young stars with the world’s finest players, giving the team a mixture of youthfulness, tradition and creativity - all qualities that inspire the new kit.

The red crew neck collar gives the shirt a classic but modern feel, whilst the graphic on the outer neck is the Catalan Senyera flag. The inner neck reads, ‘MÉs Que Un Club’ (More than a club). The blue on the shirt is a darker blue than seasons gone by. And the font used on the Kit is inspired by Catalan architecture.
The blue shorts have a red stripe on the side and ‘Barca’ on the back waistband. The blue socks have Barça in yellow in the same font as the shirt. The socks also offer a new and innovative design featuring an updated cotton footbed offering additional support and comfort.

it's far better than this year's, and on the pitch (not in super zoom) will actually look class.
it could have been gingham after all... muhahahahaaaaaa.
Originality is good when it doesn't contravene certain historical absolutes, i.e. the blaugrana being either halves or alternated in another manner such as stripes.
I'm not happy with it. Yallop's 'How They Sold The Game' needs a new chapter on football shirts.
Barca had a half & half coloured shirt in 1999 for their centenary and then a similar version to this new shirt in 2001, with the red bar down the middle. Its no big deal, this is just a modern version of that shirt in my eyes, with a bit of blending/fading goin' on.
I beg to differ, there's only so much you can do with red and blue stripes for so long without varying the 'Barca Brand'. Not too many people liked last years Barcelona kit untill they saw it ON so maybe it's too early to judge untill we see the players wearing it
suck ya nan, you whore
- brilliant
I take it u haven't seen the away yet
The sleeve is turned up (insides yellow)

I think beautiful shirt
I wanted a shirt with UEFA CL patch.
It looks like nothing like what a Barca kit should, I thought it was a practical joke at first.
Oh well, thank god it's only for one season.
Nike has been introducing awful, computer-generated, designs this year. These "modern" designs will be laughed at in 10 years time. Barca will look like a bunch of futuristic, PSG loving, space rangers on the pitch next season.
The current one, looks great!! in compare with this one.
change for change's sake.
It's cheap plasticky nylon crap that clings to you when hot and sweaty. censoreding horrible.
Give up.
I understand you want to make football shirts into fashion this season.
But you are very bad it.
Love,
Everyone who loves football.
They give you the something different and poeple say "Horrible, this design has no historical relevance with our club. Give us tradition please"
There is no winning for them, oh except in the bank account.
you do realize that nike is a global brand. yea its American but they based their football design HQ in Amsterdam and most designing for the nike brand happens in europe. take frances kit for example, designed by a design studio in France. Poland's kit was designed in Poland. chances are Barca's kit was designed in Spain. so educate yourself you fool. if you wanna blame nike, blame the europeans sense of style.
The shirts were premiered in BCN but I doubt, due to the uproar, these were designed in Spain. The board, and I suppos ethat means Rosell, gave their decision that they liked the kits but fans are pretty decided that it flies in the face of basic respect. Saying thta, the kits look better on the players than here: http://www.fcbarcelona.cat/club/detall/galeria-d-imatges/partit-per-la-marato-per-la-pobresa
ugly + pricey.
Current shirt is shit new one bull shit.
Club is great with glorious past wonderful present and marvel
future (I am sure)
Nike comes and Nike will go
Cheap stuck on badge and Nike logo that can/will easily peel off (what happened to embroidered badges that'll last forever?) This is fine for players, but for people paying good money I'd want something a little more substantial than a sticker for a badge
Total RIP OFF
I think those people "who just like to see barca in stripes" do so because that's what a Barca shirt is supposed to be - blue and red vertical stripes. One of the most iconic football jerseys on the planet, butchered for two years running by Nike.
I'd seriously love to know who signs off on this - does someone at Barca review this and say "I like what you've done this year, go ahead"? I just can't imagine that. Then again, look at who their sponsor is now. I guess anything goes...
I was in the Nike store (Glasgow) on Saturday - the replica Holland, Portugal, Brazil, and Serbia shirts ALL had the sticker badge. The Barcelona one will be the same. It's a joke - £40+ for a t-shirt with a sticker????
now a Paris Saint Germain like...
I don't like...

Bring back the classic designs!
No sponsor in front or at least put back UNICEF in there...replacing it with Qatari Foundation - results: lost La Liga AND the Champions League.
Change for change sake!
Back to stripes and a blue round neck collar next time please!
Looks OK, but it reminds me a little bit of a PSG kit.
Congratulations for equalling Aston Villa's record of 1 European Cup. At least they beat Bayern in normal time...
It does look like a Spiderman costume. The one from the future movie to be exact. It also seems way too tight. This is definitely a no-buy for me.
Looking at this close up, it looks disgusting.
However, when you see it on the player, it actually looks nice.
Away one is terrible too, on par with the Kappa ones of the 90's
Massive fall in shirt sales this year I think. Time to get a new kit supplier.
Please hit me with your pointless little red thumbs for having a different opinion to you.
thanx
nike should be ashamed of itself
absouletly rubbish.
poor nike
shut up, the kit is well nice
end of.
But they had stripes last year?
beautiful and kind to the eye from far away
The 2010-11 shirt was the best (with the Yellow collar)
PSG shirt is much better
And the Yellow under sleeve is a good touch, maybe it is to help stop fakes from getting bought
NO MORE FAKE JERSEYS THOSE GUYS ARE SCUM!!
