With its eye-catching combination of classic white and lucent infrared, the new 2012/13 away kit is young and brash, with just a hint of aggression. The contrasting matt and glossy fabrics and the slogan Mia san mia woven into the collar round off the new shirt’s striking design.

It's Infrared,
looks like orange in the photo but in person it's a salmon/peach orange/pinkish color.

Again red with pink on the sponsor! It could be a nice shirt, but that combination is just evil.

they should alter the sponsor colour to keep it inline with the rest of the jersey...

really? take a look at chelsea's latest jersey, exact template from this years bayern home jersey. you have it twisted, chelsea gets bayerns leftovers, get used to it because the UCL will be similar.

no, they don't... 4 Stars means 20 or more bundesliga-championships and has nothing to to with the number of champion league titles.

It 's a very bright scarlet that Adidas calls "infrared." The University of Louisville wore this color during the recent NCAA basketball championships.

-3 # 2012-04-28 06:54
It clearly IS red - just a much brighter shade...Remember back in '02 when Nike's kits were conventional colours just done in flourescent fabric? It's like that.
As a fan of FCB, I can see that what adidas are doing is replicating the design of the early 70's home shirt, just reversing the colurs...As with a lot of the new shirts, retro but modern.
As far as Robben staying, I'd say it's more likely now - with Shaqiri and Dante already signed, that gives us more creative options mixed with strength at the back respectively - so Robben can't accuse us of a lack of ambition.
Oh, and one last thing - as rightly pointed out, the four stars aren't for the European cups - the DFB (German FA) awarded us four stars in '08 for reaching 20 Bundesliga titles. In Germany it's 3 titles=1 star; 5=2; 7=3; 20=4. So Dortmund will have 2 stars on there new Puma shirt when it's unveiled.

First, it' 3 stars for ten championships... and to be really specific, it's only for "bundesliga"-championships. championships before 1964 and GDR-championships don't count.

OK, granted, couldn't remember if it was 7 or 10...But read it properly: I said BUNDESLIGA titles. Schalke and 1.FC Nurnberg would have several stars if the old German championship title counted.

4 Stars are for 20+ Bundesliga titles.
1 Star = 3 Titles
2 Stars = 5 Titles
3 Stars = 10 Titles

Actually the stars above the badge represent the number of bundesliga title they've got, not the champions league title.
P.S. 5 bundesliga titles = 1 star

The cut off stripes are almost exactly like Adidas kits from the 2002 World Cup, one of my favourite designs.

But the only thing against this kit is the combination of the orange and pink mix, which is Godawful. I'm sure the away kit will look nicer.

Good kit for Bayern. They always have great kits and I really liked the Red & Gold this season. I still think that when 1860 use the White & Blue stripes (similar to Argentina) with plain white shorts they have the best kits in Muenchen! This season the Uhlsport was gross. I can't wait for a Muenchen Derby! It has been too long!
