Birmingham City 12/13 diadora home football shirt

Birmingham City will be wearing blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks at St. Andrew's for the 2012/13 season courtesy of the club's new Official Technical Kit Supplier Diadora.

This season they have reverted back to white shorts to accompany a plain royal blue shirt with a dark blue collar and blue socks. Club Captain Stephen Carr, Peter Lovenkrands, Chris Burke and Wade Elliott were on hand to model the kit before heading off to Austria for the pre-season tour.

The balding chap in the front has been caught at an excitable moment; a feature exacerbated in the posture of the poor fellow to his left. Thankfully, the others have exercised more restraint, which is always cheering to witness.

Almost a beautiful kit.
If they'd just made the Diadora logo a little bit bigger so that it actually touches the collar.

Good to see Diadora back after their financial problems in recent years. The top by itself looks poor (not a fan of the 2 tones of blue on the shirt and collar) but the whole kit looks good.

Also, I can't believe Peter Lovenkrands is still playing. I thought he was past it in his last season at the old Rangers.

Reminds me of the 97 Everton kit because of the dark collar: http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/specials/names-numbers/1996-97-everton-home-shirt-barmby-12-l.html

BCFC fan here, love what DIadora have done with the kit. i don;t think Xtep did a bad job design wise with their efforts but they're an amateurish company, glad to go back to a real professional sports manufacturer like Diadora. also, who is this idiot Leyton Orient fan? why he be trollin? lol

This kit is horrible, i was glad when we got rid of Xtep but now i wish i had them back making our kits. Last seasons kits were the best kits Birmingham City have had in my lifetime, just a sh't named chinese maker.

Looks even worse in the footage of pre-season

Dreading seeing the away kit

Cheers Andy but i doubt we will get promoted doubt we will even finish in the playoffs tbh

I don't know whether people will agree with me or not, but I guess you never know until you leak your truthful thoughts..

As a massive Birmingham City fan I kept refreshing the bcfc homepage until the images of the Blues kit were released and I was very excited; until I seen it.

I thought to myself, EURGGGGH.
I thought it looked like a rugby kit.

BUT then I looked over it again and again, and its really grown on me. Looks very nice in person.

Doesn't look as dark or as purple as it does on this photograph as well.

The kit looks like its dark blue with a black collar, but its not.

I'd say its probably our best kit in around 10 years. Love it now, can't wait to see the Away and Third kit!

Keep right on, up the Blues!
