This is the new Bradford City 12/13 home football shirt made by Nike.
The kit consists of alternating claret and amber hoops with white shorts & socks. Apparently it’s almost identical to the club’s first ever kit worn back in 1903 – the year the club formed and played out their first league game against Grimsby Town.
Joint-chairman Mark Lawn said: “I’m a Bradford City fan through and through, and I, as well as everybody else associated with the club, want the success we so crave. Hopefully we will all unite as a club and gain promotion this season in our historic, claret and amber hoops.”

Dont know why, just not a fan. sorry
So? Its a nice looking shirt (apart from at the back) and some obvious thought has gone into the history of the club in this design. What does it matter if its not the latest template?
Good to see the ribbon of rememberence on the shirt too.
Seriously though would make a great Arsenal away kit....
Did you not read the bit at the beginning?
ALSO ITS CLARET AND AMBER!!! not maroon and yellow!!
guess we have no choice re the back ... however would be nice if the replica kit was hooped all around .. with the team kit having to use the plain back as per league rules??
Aitor
Islamic Green would be best, and there could be a minaret and mosque in the ground
I was hoping to see a striped version like last year's but with straight stripes rather than jagged ones.
Yeah, doesn't go well does it?
thats the idea since our club was founded by a rugby club dipshit.
at least not hooped and with white shorts.
