Bristol Rovers have today unveiled their new Errea home and away kits for the 2012/13 season. Captain Matt Gill and winger Mustapha Carayol took time out from their busy schedules to model the kits they will be wearing next year.

The home kit retains the famous blue and white quarters that make Rovers stand out from the crowd, but the quarters have been reverted to return to the more traditional style. The shirt features a v neck, with details around the neck and sleeves while sticking with the popular plain quarters.

The shirt is emblazoned with the logo of new sponsors Opus Recruitment Solutions.

Darren Ryemill, CEO of Opus Recruitment said: "It is a really nice kit, and I think our logo looks amazing as it is in the same colours.

"I used to be a trainee with Rovers up until the age of 18, and now although I no longer play football, this is a great way for me to be involved with the team.

"The 1883 Sponsors Club draw makes this opportunity accessible for companies like mine that would not be able to afford it otherwise.

"I never dreamed we would win, I could not be happier."

As for the away shirt, Rovers have opted for a classic black shirt with amber piping. The logo of our away sponsors CR Windows stands out in white lettering.

Mark Brown, Managing Director of CR Windows said: "We are a Bristol based company, and the fact that we can support a local team means the world to us.

"This is the third year we have entered the competition and we enter mainly for the hospitality package, which gives us a chance to take our staff out.

"Winning the shirt sponsorship is a massive added bonus."

Home shorts and socks will be blue, and the away shorts and socks will be black.

Adult shirts will range from small to 5XL and cost £38, with child sizes priced at £29.

Rovers' commercial director Barry Bradshaw said: "We are delighted with the design of both kits for next season, and it was great to see the reaction from both the sponsors.

"Thanks to the 1883 Sponsors Club we have two proud local businesses sponsoring our shirts - an opportunity they would not have had otherwise.

"We will be running the draw again later this year, so I would encourage all local businesses to think about taking part, as this could be you next year."

The home shirt will be available to order online this afternoon, and should be available to buy in the shop from the middle of May.

The away kit will be officially launched at our annual Fun Day in the summer.

Thanks to Daniel

Why do they have different sponsors?

Companies buy a raffle ticket which lets them all get privileges at the ground and gives them the opportunity to win the advertisements on the shirts.

It gives Rovers more money than it would with just one sponsor.

the home kit is quite smart, the away looks cheap and pretty terrible.

Home is the same style as Norwich's from this season (which is no bad thing).
Expect the players to be cutting triangles into the front of the collar though

Love the home kit retro style collar adds to the quality. Home kit bit dull and the sponsor has a touch of the word art about it but overally happy.

Home kit looks spot on. Haven't heard anything negative about it whatsoever. Even the players have been tweeting each other saying it looks good.

Away shirt is just a stock template. Shame, but with such a good home shirt I'm not bothered.

Excellent . Errea always do a good job of what is basically a stupid idea ( blue and what is quarters). Love the away kit too

Darren Ryemill of Opus Recruitment is the biggest twerp I've met (thankfully the rendez-vous with him in your office was a very short one).

I know from one of my contacts at Opus that the staff there think Darren is a tw*t and I am in full agreement with them.

Rubbish manager, rubbish agency.
