Derby County 12/13 Kappa Home Football Shirt

This is the new Derby County 12/13 Home football shirt made by kappa.

Moving away from using the full Derby County logo on their shirts, the Rams have opted to display an embroidered outline Ram crest on all of their kits from the start of next season - which was confirmed a few weeks ago when the new-look black away kit was revealed. The Club have decided to make this change to demonstrate that Derby County are 'The Rams', and also rekindle links with their heritage.

Produced by Derby's new kit manufacturers Kappa, who signed a five-year partnership deal with the Rams in June, the home kit is skin fit strip and is 100% polyester interlock with moisture wicking and displays a crisp and clean black-and-white look.

I can imagine why the sponsors want the logos high up: When the players are interviewed the logos won't be visible otherwise.

No, it's made well, but the club emblem and the sponsor's name are just funny.

No, Kappa is much better, than Nike, for example. The only bad thing about Kappa was their "kinda-bra-design" at the chest of shirts.

Placing everything up is not an esthetic choice, sponsors want to be seen when players are tv-interviewed. It's the same logic when players have to answer in front of a board full of sponsors...money, money, money...however this is an awfull trend.
We should go back to shirts without sponsors, and tatoo these on players faces, the'll aprouve it for bigger wages.
Have a nice weekend.

Really nice, except from that sponsor...I think the problem is that it's spread over 3 lines rather than the usual 1 - Kappa seem to like the sponsor's logo high, which looks fine for say, Fulham, but not here. As an FC Bayern fan, our home and third logo is the best, just a capital 'T' and 4 dots...Shimples!

If Kappa just put badges and logos in the right place they'd make some nice enough kits, the obsession with putting everything as high as possible is really spoiling them, I'd really like to know why they're doing it because it looks really awful.

Very continental and classic Kappa. I like this!!

Britain needs to move with the times and get away from the old traditions of a single sponsor in the middle of the shirt.

Clubs have to maximise every single avenue of financial opportunity and if that means a bigger, higher up sponsor then so be it!

Kappa, Derby and Fulham all deserve credit for leading the way.

The sponsor doesn't look as big up close. If anyone thinks our shirt sponsor is big, please take a look at Lille's kits recently!
