England EURO 2012 Umbro Home Goalkeeper Shirt

england euro 2012 umbro home goalkeeper shirt

Following up on the new England EURO 2012 home football shirt, the new England Home goalkeeper’s kit takes inspiration directly from the centre of the flag with full red colouring and the design details in white. Containing an interlocking pattern of red England crosses it aims to ensure Joe Hart stands out on the pitch. The new England goalkeeper shirt is available here.

The goalkeeper shirt sleeve has been constructed using a polyester/elastine blend that creates a tight yet flexible fit and offers maximum compatibility with goalkeeping gloves. Crafted in line with the whole England kit, the goalkeeping kit comes complete with Umbro’s iconic stripe rib and is tailored with a classic football smart look.

England goalkeeper Joe Hart commented: “I like the link the kit has to the St. George’s flag and the new goalie kit compliments the outfield strip whilst still standing out. Representing your country is a great honour for any player so I’m proud to wear the white and red of England.”

The wider on-pitch range includes a white and red Umbro Anthem Jacket, a style made famous by the legendary Sir Alf Ramsey. It will be worn by the team as they walk out onto the pitch and features the same red woven ribbing detail as the Home kit.

The new England Home Kit is available here from 29th Februaryengland euro 2012 umbro home goalkeeper shirt

reckon it should be the home shirt
change away strip to black (not all black, but predominantly so)

goalkeeper shirts best to be less traditional outfield colours, e.g. green, yellow.

Looks like it should be on a cheap knock-off market stall for a couple of quid. Nasty. England ripping off its fans again.

They should have done something with those England flag in the white kit. White with lightgray flag. That would make that kit less dull. This is just perfect!

I won't be wasting my money on that poor of an excuse home shirt, but I think I would be tempted to get this.

It seems more effort went into the design of the keeper top than of the outfield one.

agreed would be a great away kit, but with white shorts, i feel the england goalie top should be yellow as that whst has been traditional!

I'm still not sure what I think about the new outfield kit, but this keeper's kit is probably one of my favourite kits of the last few years.

England home kit should be white with blue shorts.
England away kit should be red with white shorts.
England Goalkeepers home kit should be green.
England Goalkeepers away kit should be yellow.

ALL with a blue 3 lions badge.

Umbro have censoreded it all up.

There should never EVER be any blue in an england kit

Where does blue come from? White & Red only

The shirt doesn't have to merely reflect the flag.

For one thing, there aren't any lions on the flag.

Nice shirt I like the slits on the sleeves makes it easier to put them over gaolie gloves. Should have been the away kit really.
Still think it is a total rip off though.

question:

why do keepers overwhelmingly wear long sleeves? barthez is like one of the few that i can think of that wore short sleeves...

Did you really just ask that question? Probably cause they are constantly diving around and hitting the ground with their arms. Long sleeves offer some protection.

It would be a great away shirt if not for the stupid little crosses, I aggree the Umbro need to stop messing around and stick with the While hime, green goalkeeper, red away, yellow goalkeeper formula.
The 2008 world cup shirt swas class the two since then blow!

I like the home kit and its collar, bit different from the norm even if its simple.
But I dont like how they keep using that fat cross within the detail of the shirt. looks repetitive, lazy and ugly!

Does anyone know a website where I can get shirt printing on the back as Kitbag only have Hart and as a United fan I refuse to wear a city player on my back regardless of the nationality of them!

Thanks
